re-allocating buttons (for use in games etc) - MDA, XDA, 1010 General

Hi Guys
Just recently purchased myself an XDA and have been playing with it. Based in Australia.
Was wondering if there is a way to re-allocate keys so that they can be used in games etc. In a few of the games I have tried I have been unable to play some off the games as the joypad and action button are not enough.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

[Q] FPSE issues on Xperia Play

Hi Guys
I have a Rooted Xperia Play 3.0.1.a.145.
I have ripped a few PSX images (.bin/.cue) of games like FF8 , re2 and dino crisis 2.
In the wiki these games are supported by fpse and was hoping to get them working.
i have the scph1001.bin bios file on the sd card and have loaded it within fpse systems section.
i have also enabled spu sound and disabled HLE.
When i try loading any of these 3 games i just get a black screen and the game does not load and i end up pressing the menu button and quit out of fpse after a few minutes of wait.
Can someone tell me if i am ripping the games wrong? i am using imgburn and games are 2345bytes/sector.
Am i suppost to be using any other program after imgburn to shrink the screen size?
Any help will be appreciated. Im a N00b to Android phones.
Regards
Manny
ive been looking for answers on this all morning, thought it was the versions i downloaded at first, so i just bought the most current for 5 bucks. still, terrible sound with FF7, no sound with FF8, and i cant configure my X button on the controller. im getting very frustrated with this myself.
I'm having this same issue
I can't map the X button either and it's driving me crazy.

PLaying NDS games through Teamviewer - problems

Hi guys,
I recently had the idea of playing DS games on my Walkman Z (Tegra 2 1GHz) using teamviewer to connect to my home PC running an emulator. Setup is quite easy and the 3G bandwidth here is enough for decent fps playing less intensive games. However, for some reason the keyboard controls are very unresponsive. I mapped the controls to WASD etc for easy use but it frequently takes many taps to get a response. Typing something into wordpad however does not (but lags a bit of course) If anyone could provide any help it'd be much appreciated. I'll look into testing other emulators tomorrow. Currently using No$GBA.
Thanks
EDIT: My device is running Android 2.3.4 and is not rooted. Using default keyboard.

[Q] How to find key mappings for games?

So i just bought a MOGA controller and installed the MOGA universal driver app. I want to play modern combat 3 and sonic 4 episode 1 but I don't know how to find the right keymappings for games. If anyone could help me or suggest a software that allows a button to emulate pressing a touchscreen (like the sixaxis app) it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

[Q] Final Fantasy III with controller?

Hi there!
I bought Final Fantasy III from the play store few month ago and fortunately finally have time to play it in the upcoming holidays. I'm really interested, if it's possible, to play it via controller. At the moment I didn't find a way to manage this, as FF3 seems to be completely touch oriented.
I also bought the app "sixaxis controller", to play emulated games via my PS3 controller on my GT-I9300, this works like a charm and is a great solution. I wish, there was a solution to play FF3 the same way. Unfortunately, it seems to be impossible to create a touch profile for FF3 since the menus etc. are build dynamically.
Did anybody managed it, to play it via controller, preferably PS3?
Thanks in advance!

Help: how to disable external controller detection in an android game?

Hi guys my android device has integrated physical controls, works great for almost all games specially because of the integrated mapping tool, but some games like Implosion, lego star wars, the amazing spiderman 2 autodetect the gamepad as a different controller, the problem is the games don't recognize most of the buttons, so I can't progress because there is no option to enable the touch screen controls. So my question is does anyone know how to disable the gamepad autodetection in games so I can play them using the onscreen buttons by using the mapping tool? I have root maybe there is a way to alter the games data to disable the external controller detection? Please help
Any ideas guys? based on the times I have seen this question on the internet it appears no one knows how.
No dev knows?

Any way to disable th system input devices?
It appears the problem arises because the builtin controller of my device is two different devices called "joystick" (the analogs) and "joykey" (the face buttons and dpad), the games only detect the joystick as the first connected device, making the face buttoms unusable. Is there any way I can merge these input devices? Or just removing "joystick"?
Solved!!!

I found a solution to this problem
For me i have seen that i was using wireless bluetooth earphone.due to bluetooth connectivity they mistaken with controller.so if you are using bluetooth earphones just dont use while playing the game otherwise they will mistake our earphone with controller.so yup thats it it worked for mr.anyway those are facing this problem mainly are andriod 10 users because i already played amazing spiderman 2 on andriod 9 and i didnt face such like problems.also if the app doesnt install on your andriod 10 try unistalling other gameloft games and find a compatible version for your phone.you can find the version on youtube or google also.here is the youtube channel name andorid Games and type amazing spiderman 2 for andriod 10.
