Dear all,
after i installed Rom 2003, i found that when my XDA turned off, it cann't turn on as usual. What's wrong with it? and how to solve it?

hi guys i have an imate pocketpc 2003.i tried to upgrade to wm2005.the upgrade went smooth.but when I started my device.it gave me authentication failure error.contact your device manufacturer.
thankx to the forum emails i reverted the device back to the boot loader state and reinstalled wm2003se back.
it was really a nightmare.
any comments how to use wm2005 on the imate pocketpc .
which is similar to xdaII

I have installed Mobile Windows 2005 on my XDA II but without any risult. When I have reset my palm has appeared me an error of erred ID. Can you give me some suggestion?

I am exactly at the same place which u posted you where? Device Authentication...error while upgrading from Win 2003 to Win 2005. I am stuck!
And u had win 2003 SE, but i dont have it!
What to do man!

I'm useing an XDA IIi with wm2003 se, and active sync 4. the problem is that whenever i try and use the upgrade tool it fails for some reason. i'm gunna try again and take a screenshot so i can show you guys.

I downloaded the zip. It contained three *.rar files. I unpacked those as well but the part2.rar file wants to overwrite the first on. What to do?
Well, then I ran HimaUpgradeUT.exe. It starts but drops my activesync connection and then thells me there is a connection problem. How's that, do I have to install AS 4.0 first?

Did you uninstall the old activesync version before you installed the version 4? it might give you conflict if you didnt.
First install Activesync 4 before upgrade to WM5

Got the exact same problem.
Was already using ActiveSync 4 with my XDA II (WM2003). Upgraded XDA II to WM5 and now when I connect my XDA II to PC by USB I get that 'Generic RNDIS' message.
Have uninstalled/reinstalled ASync 4 but no change. Anyone out there with any other suggestions please?

if you get this 'generic rndis' thing, pls check if you have microsoft service pack 2 (SP 2) installed in your XP Home. if your in XP Professional, you most probably have SP2 installed already.

I finally got this software TofClock_HIMA_WM6_AKU.0.7.rar and got one new problme here, every thing goes fine, but during installation my o2 xda atom automatically disconnected. Can any one tell me why is this hapenning.
Cause you are using a Hima ROM on an Atom. Please read further u have to flash an Atom ROM only, otherwise u will brick ur device and I hope u have not done the same so far.
i recently update my o2 Xda mini s WM 5.0 to wm 6.5.
every thing working fine n am loving it..
but prb is when i charge in battery there is no anymore stable yellow led on top.. and it dont give any information about PDA is charging.. when i trying to check my battery percentage.. it shows> Main Battery: Unknown
BATTERY POWER REMAING: ..... ..... ....(nothing)
and when baatery goes low. it just shut down it self. no warning or anything.
i searched a lot about it but no success.
i thought u guys will surely help me..

i tryed everything that i can do mean i tryed hardreset, softreset, install new rom.. but in every new rom it doesn't show the battery status...
what should i do?
