hey guys...
i was wondering, do any of you know how to put a game into the "games" file on your XDA?
I ask this beacuse i have downloaded pac-man, but when i want to play it, i have to go to "file explorer"....i would much rather it be in games...
any ideas?

Do you have the DTree program that install with the SE Rom? It works great to create shortcuts. If I remember right, just navigate to the exe of the game you want then tap it then select copy. Then navigate to the games folder and tap on the folder and select create link. Good luck - Jim
Use file explorer (or other file manager) to create a shortcut to Pacman and place the shortcut in the Windows\start menu\programs\games folder.

OK, so I installed some games to my SD card. I just updated my LEO Rom to v13. Now I dont know how to get the icons for them back on the device and show on the start page. Im sure there is someone who knows how to to do this. Please help!!! I have looked through this forum so long I have gone blind. Thanks.........
browse to the folder for the game, one file will probably be an .exe file, press and hold, copy, browse to the windows/start menu/programs folder and choose menu edit paste shortcut
Some bits of software might require reinstalling on a new rom, but they are few and far between.

Thanks. Also, is there any way to create a new link in the start menu to the .exe on the storage card?
The title says it all. Can I add a quick link to a document, video file, or a folder?

Yes sir you can!
Easily's way is by using Total Commander!
steps:
- Open Total Commander
- navigate to your file/folder what you will like to have as shortcut
- select file
- on the bottom pres "File"
- select >>>>> in popup window
- select Create shortcut
- add the path of shortcut
That's it.
You can also do it within windows on your HD2,
Open file explorer and navigate to the folder you want to make a quick link to,
Touch & hold folder, select COPY,
Navigate to My Device/Windows/Start Menu/Programs and at the bottom of the screen select Menu, then Edit, then Paste Shortcut.
This adds the shortcut to windows start menu which can then be selected as a quick link in the normal way. It might seem a bit long winded but once you try it you will see it's quite quick and easy.

Hi guys! Jux a quick question here how to un-install game and its source rite from our tab? For exp: spider man or nova2. I stop playing it n jux want to have more space on my tab so if we un-install in setting/manage app, it only un-install the main file so the source still retain on the drive. So how can i remove it? Thx in advance
Delete the folder with your file manager under the Gameloft directory.
thank for response. I did delete some file on that yes it gone but some file its not there. how can i find? i mean the other not locate gameloft folder

use FileManager HD to navigate to data folder of that specific game.
Hi! Can somebody please tell if it is possible to create a folder on the desktop of Galaxy Note where I could put my favorite files of different types - mp3s, docs, videos etc?
It is very simple to create a new desktop folder but I have no idea how to fill it with the files I want
Also, is it possible to create a desktop shortcut to a data folder (with music etc)? Thank you very much in advance for help.
The only way to fill a folder with files is:
Make a folder in your SD card with the files you want
Download Astro file manager
Long tap on home screen
Choose 'add shortcut'
Find astro shortcut
Choose the folder
So you have a shortcut of your folder, but you'll open it with astro....

Use ES file explorer.
You can long click on any file and then choose ×´shortcut".
Go back to your homescreen and you'll see the file there.

You can do this in a number of ways. I normally use Root Explorer, or I sometimes use Tasker.
The easiest is to use Root Explorer (other file managers may work the same). Just navigate to a file and long press on it and choose 'Create shortcut' from the context menu. The shortcut is automatically put on your homescreen and you can then add it to a folder (screenshot attached).

I used to have n95 until now and was satisfied with it. Even though performance of s3 is amazing, I find it "little funny" for the price of over 600€ that I have to install few apps to just do "basic stuff" like:
- create shortcut on home screen for a file
- send SMS to more than 10 people at once
