i have a signal problem and i hope there is someone that can help me.some time ago i did an unlucky ROM upgrade to my o2 xda and i decided to downgrade it downloading the
Radio_Stack_Upgrade_v421
and
Radio_Unit_Upgrade_v31703
from the o2 website.
now the new device info says
ROM version: 3.17.03 ENG
radio version: 4.21.00
The problem now is that my phone cannot receive any signal
any advice pls???

I bought a O2 XDA II last November. The device information are:
ROM version: 1.03.00 USA
ROM date: 09/24/03
Radio version: 10513A0
Protocol version: 1337.13Q
I had a bad experience with my device, it had three times hang and it cannot be reset, even full reset. The blue lamp always blinks evethough I did'nt turn on the bluetooth.
The customer service at www.myxda.com says that this radio software with this radio version (10513A0) needs to be upgraded.
Anybody can help me, what's wrong with this radio version ? is it a defect ? and what performances will be influenced by this radio version ?
Where and how can I get the upgrade radio software ?

Greetings, its been a while since I posted on here. Having been a long time user of the XDA & XDA II i've got a newly discovered problem with the SIM unlock
Had the XDA II on a years contract with O2, it expired in january i didn't renew with them as i found the whole O2 as a service provider thing rather crap.
I've just been using my XDA II as a GPS for the past couple of months, however i've now got a new SIM from https://www.easymobile.com/
the XDA II is the latest official version that came from O2
ROM Version: 1.72.00WWE
ROM Date: 03/15/04
Radio Version: 1.17.00
Protocol Version: 1337.28
ExtROM version: 1.72.181
I've downloaded and tried the xda2unlock.exe program
However it keeps telling me that the unit is unlocked
Serial v1.01
i get the message 'phone seems unlocked already!'
Any ideas whats going wrong here?

my cousin has this weak signal reception problem on her dopod s300.
she bought it in malaysia. the unit was doing great there but when she got home here in the philippines, she noticed that the signal reception leveled down by as much as 75%! what do you think guys? need help regarding this badly. band problem or something? we already reflashed it with the same default rom but still same problem. will flashing new rom do the trick? thanks! advices/comments/suggestions will be greatly appreciated. urgent....
