Had PPC2002 (o2) on my phone. Installed ExOS MMS/WAP 2.5. Managed to get it to recieve an MMS fine.
Sent an MMS to it again this morning - no indication it had been recieved, but EzOS opened to the WAP homepage, instead of displaying "you have recieved an mms..."
No way could I get it to work. Tried same SIM on 7650 - got em fine.
Installed WM2003 on XDA. Installed EzOS 2.5. Can't get it to work at all - same problem - it'll usually open EzOS when I send a MMS to it from O2 website, but doesn't appear to really recognise it..
Anyone helppp?

Right, well, got it working now, but it opens EzOS wap *then* displays the MMS recieved popup.
Anyway to stop EzOS opening like that?
* Edit: Just done some testing, and if I leave EzOS in memory, don't close it fully, its fine

hello guys.I have a minor problem with all the WM6 Roms.I use the settings i used with WM5,but i can't recieve any mms... I have no problem sending... It seems that my phone can't recieve the mms "alert" from the network carrier,and download the message.I tried to sync manually(using send/recieve) but i get a sync error.... I am currently using PDAViet 4.0.0.0.3a.... Any ideas or solutions,will be very-very helpfull....
Send/receive has nothing to do with MMS/SMS, unless you've got some strange settings set that queues the MMSs until you press that Send/recieve. Even with my fully working MMS under WM6 I get a Sync error if I press it.
Just manually configure everything (again) and it should work. Didn't work for me, however, until I found a few provider MMS .cab files. I ran two of them and I could suddenly recieve MMSs. I am using trueneytrals WM60 and T-Mobile.

After numerous attempts to get MMS working under the xda and tnt wm6 roms, I had to revert to an official wm5 rom to get it working.
As upto now I haven't a clue of the cause of this.
The only one I could come up with is the fact that the wm6 roms contain mms composer 3.5 instead of 3.0 (arcsoft)
When I upgrade to Pdaviet 4.0.0.0.3a, after I manually configured the MMS settings, I also thought that there was a problem with that rom. I could receive but not send, always hang in 97%.
A few days ago I updated to the new rom, 4.0.0.0.5, and it was even worst. But after I reviewed the settings, now I have no problem in receiving or sending MMSs. My fault on this one.

How did you solve your problem?
I'm on 4.0.0.0.5 and I can't send or receive MMS on TMN and I'm pretty sure everything is well configured.

I sorted it out, just created manualy the connection with the right settings...
I have read and read and browsed and downloaded and typed and entered and so on!!!!! But none of the solutions or cabs seems to work for Erofich's Standard 6.1 1.1.7 version. I am on the Cingular/AT&T network. Does anyone have the fix? I can send MMS but cannot download.
Have the same problem but can download picture not audio files

i have the settings if you want them. the cab files wouldnt work for me either. just pm me or just ask in the forum.

Yes, the settings on the ATT website WORK, but not completely. The MMS header will download, but you can't view any pictures. This must be a ROM issue - I've tried everything I can think of!
Finally resolved
This is one of those occasions where you are not sure what fixed it in the array of changes, but it worked, so don't argue with results.
I went in and cleared out all the settings that came by default with the 6.1 ROM. (Proxy, GPRS, MMS, etc.)
I then input by hand the settings on the AT&T website at:

I get alerts, I am able to send and receive all MMS messages as well as txt msg and Exchange Outlook email. No ERROR SYNCHRONIZING anymore!
Strange... my internet works (as well as all my internet enabled apps), texting works fine, but MMS is still a no-go! I don't get "error synchronizing" anymore... it just tries to send and always fails 5 minutes later! I have checked and re-checked the settings - I am running the latest WM 6.1 Standard ROM from this forum.
OK I have obviously the ATP. I installed Merdins3.0 Rom fresh and removed Sprint Picture Mail from the list. Then installed Alltel Arcsoft MMS 5.0.69.44 with success and i can now send picture messages but i cannot recive them. I have tried the following:
- Net always connected (Nothing)
- Redide network connection (nothing)
- Resetup pic server conenction (Made it work to send)
- Called alltel and had even Teir 2 resetup on their end etc still no recive.
It seeems the phone knows there a mms coming in but its hidden somewhere. If i sent a mms from antoher phpone my phone turns on and lights up like its going to download the message but nothing shows and nothing is anywhere.

Help on MMS VZW; After I installed: Arcsoft Verizon MMS 5.0.69.44, a message comes up: "THis might not display because this is for an older version". I have tried to send a low res picture, and it bounces back saying "message delivery failed;or message recept failed" The person I sent it to, doesnt get the picture. I then tried GC Acrsoft MMS 5.031.25 & GC VZW Arcsoft MMS 5.0.70.24. Still no good, ”same messige delivery reject” any other ideas?
so not what you want to hear, but I spent the morning fighting with this exact issue... Finally just reflashed the ROM used PHM Registry hacker dn went to HKLM/software/arcsoft/arfcsoft mms ua/config/mm1/wspheader and added a new string X-VzW-MDN with the value of my 10 digit number. now it works.
I gave up and flashed scotts, mms worked, its also loaded. Thanks for your response
so... It seems I have gotten pretty good with this MMS not working thing... I have found that installing Caulkins Arcsoft fersion (I think its 69.43 or something....) and then dialling *228 option 1 to program your phone works pretty good. Im back to rocking Boreds stripper rom and loving it again. But now I found a winMo 6.5 rom that I wanna try....
hi all, to im new to this forum, in doing some of my own research i came across the questions on the MMS for VZW, have u tried changing anything in the servers, I was gettint the same exact message until I changed the server info, then it started working instantly give that one a try. However I am having a heck of a time trying to update the rom on my VZW tp, anyone have the time to walk me through it, thanks in advance.

Ok, I have the MMS working on the phone. However the touchFlo interface does not support the new SMS/MMS. it no longer shows next messages on the interface. I have to go into the messages to see view any messages since the upgrade. is there a way to configure the touchflo to look at the mms update instead?

I've got a pink Hero from mobiles.co.uk for my girlfriend (really it is for my girlfriend) and I'm having the strangest issue with MMS on it.
If I send a message to myself, it sends it fine and receives it fine.
If I send it to another phone, it sends fine and the person receives it fine.
However, If I get one sent to my phone from another phone, it wont receive it.
I just can't understand why, is there anyone here who can actually receive MMS messages from someone else who is on Vodafone?
I haven't bothered posting my APN settings just in case its a known issue but I will do if some people can send messages. I'm on Modaco 2.6 too.

my Hero was receiving mms ok, then just stopped cant receive any now, on vodafone cant seem to find out why, starting to annoy me, no bluetooth and now no mms why did i buy this peice of sh** aarrgghh
at my local (AUSTRALIA) virgin/optus/vodafone store he has a magic vodafone & i have a hero optus & we were testing this as i was setting up my MMS & all worked ok

UK vodafone, using MCR 2.2 ROM (will update soon!), MMS worked pre uprgade, but now does not. Tried all sorts of APN settings.
