Best suggestion I can make is order it online and have it shipped to you.

How much is it then?

That would depend on where you get it from and what kind you get. Being that you are not in the u.s. I'm not sure what it would be in your area... I do know there are some third party chargers made in your area that are sold in different places online. You might do some browsing and look for some.

Yup. Mine came very loose with the phone so I'm going to try to get a replacement from HTC under warranty since T-mobile counts it as an "accessory" so it's not covered in the 2-year carrier warranty... if not, I'll just get a case and wait it out until the floodgates open.

I just got a message from HTC today saying that they STILL don't have any replacement battery covers. I wonder why they don't have the replacement parts for a phone that's been out for two months?

I honestly just picked a cheap, most likely mass produced one off of ebay and it works out fine. It was like a dollar or two, total.
I bought from ebay uk last year. 1.5 £. Works fine

Just use ebay! They are mass produced, it's only a resistor soldered across two of the pins. They're very easy to make.Hence why you can get them cheap.
As the others said, got mine from eBay too. Really cheap and it works.

Oh come on, it's what ? 1 pound, 2 pounds on eBay ? go wild, live dangerously, order from two sellers at once At that price, biggest risk is getting the jigs shipped in an envelope coloured in a colour you don't like.

Or if you're really bored with spare time on your hands then just solder a 300kΩ resistor over pins 4 & 5 of a chopped up mini USB adaptor. Also that way if you make it yourself you know it's gonna be good quality.

With ICS, and thanks to Chainfire, you no longer need to buy a jig
Use the software equivalent Triangleaway instead Will be good to buy it from the market also to support the dev's amazing efforts.

Flashing the old bootloader & using the jig also has a (normally very small) risk of bricking your device as well. So I guess it's a case of which pill you want to take

[Q] Where could I purchase the OEM headset?

Hey guys, I'm not from these forums (Nexus 4 user), but my bluetooth headset was stolen from me the other day and I want to purchase an OEM SIII headset to temporarily replace it. I have searched Amazon but I'm not sure if they are fakes or actual OEM. It would also be nice if I could find a pair of them in black like the US Cellular SIII's come with.
Thanks in advance.

So I'm planning on importing a Z2.
I'm on AT&T, are there any unforeseen consequences to doing this?
I just want to make sure I don't screw myself.

I did it and it was painless. I had my concerns but someone on another forum recommended a reputable dealer "e-bagel-tw" on eBay. He accepted my "best offer" price and the shipping was free. Since it's an international phone, it has to have AT&Ts LTE enabled after you get it. Some people have been panicking thinking they're stuck with 3G, but it's perfectly compatible once you download and install the right files.

Do you know a reliable source for these files? Just getting my ducks in a row.
I'm also on AT&T. I will say that I'd you don't already have the correctly enabled sim card, the system will give you a 3G only one of they enable the Z2 in your account. I had to go back and get them to fake the system into thinking I siding a different model so that it would provision LTE on my account.
Other than that, turn on LTE in the settings and use the system software to download the Internet settings and you're golden.
FYI, I dealt with the same seller and have the same comments about how great he is.

I wish I was paying more attention at the time. I took the phone to a local AT&T device support location in NYC when I realized I was not receiving data. The tech there couldn't figure it out at first either which is when mild panic started to set in and I backed off to let him fiddle with it. Eventually, he had a eureka moment when he stumbled upon a setting that required the download of a little file that allows the phone to connect to US LTE carriers. AT&T was one of the choices. Now in my phones settings: tools...wireless networks...more...internet settings...accept...and one of the three choices is ATT.
I'm going to order one as well. Probably will use the same seller.
