MSN messenger for O2 XDA cannot connect!! - MDA, XDA, 1010 General

I have recently acquired an O2 Xda. I am subscribed to Vodafone in Sydney for both GSM and GPRS. However when I am logged into GPRS and I try to get into MSN messenger it says
"Logon to MSN Messenger Service failed because the service is not compatible with this version of the program"
Can someone please help

There is a security update for MSN messeger and you must get it from Microsoft site for Windows Mobile

XDA / Pocket IE accessing Exchange Server 5.5

Hello
I'm hoping someone might be able to help with a problem we have encountered. We would like to allow some of our XDA users to access their Exchange email accounts via the webmail interface using Pocket Internet Explorer. This all works OK but there is a slight security issue with Pocket IE on the XDA caching network credentials.
The first time the user accesses the webmail site they are asked for the username, password and domain details as we would expect. Once authenticated they get to the mailbox login and from here can access their account. No problem here.
All subsequent logins however go straight to the mailbox so the XDA seems to be caching the network credentials. The only way we have found so far to clear the "cache" is to reset the XDA. I was wondering if anyone could suggest any other way.
O2 say this is a known "feature / issue" and the solution is to upgrade our Exchange server from 5.5 to 2000.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Microsoft
The problem you are experiencing here is an issue with Pocket IE. This part of the PocketPC 2002 operating system, and it pretty much unmodified by O2 / T-Mobile etc. You will find the same problem if you use an iPAQ, Casiopea etc, so it's not something that can be specifically fixed by O" - that's really up to microsoft.
I initially contacted Microsoft Tech Support and was told that they didn't support Pocket PC and I should contact the supplier of the PDA (ie O2).
I'll try Microsoft again but in the meantime I'd be grateful for any other suggestions.
Reading other posts on the site it looks as if it might not be possible to update the version of Pocket PC on the XDA anyway.
Thanks very much for your help.

can you access MSN messenger through WAP?

hey
i was just wondering, can you access MSN messenger through WAP?
thanks very much for your help
jay
That's an easy one - Yes
How? very interested. As I am on Cinglar in the US and they subscribe to neither of the services, provided by Microsoft to Verizon(only) or AIM to various service providers.
How do you access these services via WAP? or what would be even better is how do you access these services via SMS if your service provider has not licensed the SMS/WAP IM Client for their network?
Please let me know this would be very 8)
Prophetor: click some of these, and you'll be happy:

On a more general note, and definitely not just for Prophetor:
Asketh not a forum what thou can asketh Google.
hhhmmm using MSN messenger though SMS would mean it would have to send sms in a seroius way one ever so often to tell your status
and one to you to tell you the status of everybody else
not sure but here a SMS is pretty expensive compared to GPRS if you count bandwidth and time used on the system

Problem F.IM facebook chat

Hi all, I have a HTC HD2 leo T8585 with Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional, I noticed that with any browser you can access chat facebook, and the only program with which you can access it Fim Mosko mobi v2.21 . Once installed and configured by entering your login data, opens a window that says <Please confirm FIM from the desktop and subsequently signing again> <Connection Failed>.
Since this is the only program where you can view the facebook chat you can give me some advice?
Thank you in advance
greetings
Tuna

and you aren't asking this in the F.IM thread because....?

its telling you to login to facebook through your usual desktop, and you will be presented with a box assking you to confirm fim as a trusted application. (Probably)
the problem lies in the recognition by facebook.
Facebook recognizes only windows mobile apps, but not Fim recognizes Mosko.
Until a few weeks back everything worked fine .. I do not understand
