Active Sych Version on XDA II - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 ROM Development

Hi,
I am expecting delivery of my XDA II device today and wondered if anybody could confirm if it possible to downgrade the Active Sych version to previous version. I need this to work with my Duality Software application for e-mail on the move and Duality will only currently work with
earlier version of Active Synch.
Any thoughts/comments ?
Thanks
Pete

I think WM2003 demands 3.7 version.

WM 2003 upgrade- Application Installers Don't Work? PLS HELP

Ok here's my Problem,
I upgraded My SX56 from PPC 2002 to WM2003, not minding the changes at first, and liking some of them, untill I got home from work that night and tried to reload the driver for my folding Keyboard, and the AOL Instant messanger 2.0. It was then that I found that WM2003 did not support these. Does anyone know of a program that would make these as well as other 2002 apps compatible with WM2003?
I gave up and went into an AT&T store and used a display SX56 to write the Original ROM to my MMC card and then uploaded it back to my SX56. So now I'm back at square one again and I'd like to be on WM2003, but I can't sacrifice my apps to do so. Can anyone advise? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks all!

Re:
i might have a answer for your Aim problem as i use a ipaq 38250 too with WM 2003 in addition to the SX-56. i found that installing www.aol.co.uk did the trick for me
Isn't this the same aim 2.0 that I have? I think it is, and it won't reinstall after the upgrade to WM2003.
it worked for me and im running both the same version of WM200 on my ipaq and my sx-56
Where did you get your WM2003 upgrade? I got mine at My Siemens.com I wonder if you have a different version because when I try to install it using activesync it says it will only install when a compatible device is connected?
hmmm i used that upgrade too plus cooked roms and it worked fiune for me.
well thank you for you're info, maybe if I can get some info on the keyboard driver, i will upgrade to wm2003 again and try out that aim version. I appreciate your help man.
Phil
Oh hey, what version of active snyc are you using, I'm using the one the SX56 came with, maybe that's the problem? Or the windows version you're running on you're pc, Im on XP?
dunno, it works for me i even copied it over from the IPAQ without sintalling it and i get on just fine
The keyboard driver available in the kitchen works well for me, you must remember though that it initialises com1 automatically and needs to be disabled before using serial gps, this resets to active also after every soft reset.

[Q] Skype on Vodafone Australia

Hey all,
I've been browsing around the XDA forums for quite a while now, and normally always have been able to find a solution if not at least some relevant information to any of my issues regarding my S2.
I'm currently on Vodafone AU and have the Skype pack on my account, which allows me to use Skype via the Vodafone network rather than over data.
The problem that I am facing is that after Skype was updated to the latest version, I can no longer connect. The app (Skype on Vodafone, not the Market one) tells me 'Couldn't connect to Skype'.
The previous version of it worked just fine, however I never anticipated this problem so I did not make a backup of the old app.
From testing I have been able to get it working on the stock Vodafone ROM, but not on a Custom ROM. I am currently running Cognition S2 1.15.
I assume they coded the app in a way to verify the type of ROM that you are using so you can only connect if you are using the Vodafone ROM.
Does anyone have any idea on how to get a workaround on this issue? or for that matter does anyone out there have the previous version of the app?
I do use Skype quite often, but don't really want to use the Market Skype since that goes over metered data; and I really do not want to go back to the stock Vodafone ROM.
I've uploaded the current version of the Skype App, if someone needs it or it proves to be helpful.

If there's any extra info I can provide that I might've omitted please let me know.
Thanks in advance for any useful information in the matter.

Hey mate do you still have the problem? I have installed LeoMar ROM, but my Skype on Vodafone app works fine, also I used to have the Lite'ning ROM in wich it worked perefctly as well... I have the last app update in a Samsung GS2.
How did you install the Voda Skype app on Cognition Rom? Find that source APK and install that over.

[Q] Exchange problems with multiple Androids?

Hello. I have a problem running Exchange ActiveSync on both my Android phone and my tablet. I have an HTC Desire HD with Android 2.3.3 (1 year old maybe) and a newly purchased Samsung Tablet Galaxy 10.1 running Android 3.2. My phone is synchronizing fine, when I try to enter same account info on the tablet, it tells me cannot reach server. My (first level!) Exchange Server technical support tells me that this is because I am running different Android versions and there is a profile conflict problem. Can this be true? Any tips to sort this one out? Alternatively: is there a phone with Android 3.2 I can use? Thanks in advance
It could be true yes, no, there is no 3.2 phone rom, because 3.x is meant for tablets. When 4.0 comes out, it is meant for both, so you will probably be able to do it then. Hope this helps.
Please hit the thank you button if i helped!

[Q] Can't update Path App with Nike + Running App

Just sold my wife's iphone 4 and she bought a S3 instead. She is a runner and always used to use the Nike app and the Path app on iPhone. She would post her runs to Path from Nike. It was a sharing feature. Another option was Facebook or Twitter but she doesn't want to share with Facebook, just her small group of friends on Path.
We verified in advance that Android had Nike and Path but come to realize after installing that there is no option to share Nike runs with Path in the Nike app.
Does anyone have a work around for this or another GPS running app you use to update Path?
Just a query is this the International I9300 SGS3 .

I use nice + allot but I have found most of gte sharing options don't work.
I gaunt tried root share to path. But Nike like the iPhone brand so wouldn't be surprised if things don't work / taken out on android
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
It's the Bell version in Canada.

Be careful firmware /mods flashed from this International I9300 forum may brick your non International phone .

CUSPTECH Devices

Hi,
I've bought a new CUSPTECH device to my car and this was a wrong choice due to terrible support.
As who have this device know it's NOT stabled and have a lot of bugs.
I sent an email to CUSPTECH's support for new version and they shared with me some folder with version for my car (CP-HY021 HYUNDAI I20).
From some reason they stop to answer to my email / Skype message and remove the link.
the last non-stable version in my car now is "4.4.2 c20140530 new radio app", but i know there is more new versions.
My suggestion for who have this device, lets share it.
I can share the last version i have but need some new version
by the way - look's like the version is compatible for all of CUSPTECH devices
