Please any one come across Error 101:Connection Error in HimaUpgradeUt.exe ? I was using Tmobile 1.72 beta and trying to upgrade to imate 1.72 Official, the upgrade program started, and hang at 40%, forced to reset, and my O2 hang at O2 Splash screen.
I tried hard-reset, and still hang at O2 Splash screen, and when I try to reinstall/upgrade/download, the upgrade program prompt me this error 101:connection error, any one have this before.

Reset your device into bootloader (arrow any direction + power + soft reset)
Disable any firewall you may have on your PC (I have had problems with ZoneAlarm)
Restart the upgrade program
I had a problem with Zone Alarm as well. I didn't need to hard reset, though.

Apologies if this has been posted before, but I've scoured the forum in vain. Please point me to an existing thread if there is one!
I just tried upgrading my Wizard G4 to TNT5.0 TouchFlo and it didn't quite go to plan...
I was trying out this method and it got all the way through and told me it had finished, but there was some message on my device screen, I can't remember what it said - something about a file not being found or something. It wasn't the one mentioned in the instructions, so alas, it didn't twig and i reset my device
Now I can't get it to go past the screen with the O2 logo and the ipl/spl info. I downloaded Wizard_Love ROM but I can't get it to work. When I reset the phone, the computer does pick it up as a USB device, but as soon as the IPL/SPL text appears, it disconnects again (according to the tone from Windows) so I don't have a chance to run the app.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The ShellTool method is deprecated and should not be used any more as there is high possibility to fail...
You should now get the Original O2 WM5 ROM to restore your original WM5, then use HardSPL or SoftSPL to flash WM6.
Hey all, let me start of by saying that I totally goofed on this and its all my fault. If anyone has any insight on what I can do to resolve my mistake, I will appreciate it.

and skipped a few steps. My phone basically stays at the bootloader screen after I run the WM6 rom update. Kar suggested I flash back to the WM5 Pocket PC rom and I called t-mobile for it but they were unable to help me in obtaining the rom. LOL, they even suggested I google it.
Basically I have 2 questions:
1)Can I revive my phone?
2)How can I revive it?

So i wanted to flash my cingular 8125 to windows mobile 6, so i downloaded this:

and i followed the instructions and after i hard reseted my phone, it booted to a white screen. I have tryed reflashing, going into bootloader mode and reflashing, and i nothing helps.

What IPL/SPL it displays now ? ,Does it get into Bootloaders ? if it still does than download and flash 'wizard_love_rom' hope it'll recover back.

It just boots into a white screen. If i hold the camera and power buttons together it boots into bootloader mode, and says USB in the bottom corner. (when i am conncected via usb) but the problem is that active sync doesnt recognize it in bootloader mode. I have tried flashing it in many different ways and i have had no success.
When i go home i will try wizard_love_rom.
and as for the IPL/SPL, i will also check that when i get home.
Where can i download the wizard_love_rom?

which i found the download for over a quick google search, and now i want to update to winmo6 or 6.1.
Can you send me the link for the easiest way to do it on a G4 cingular 8125 (HTC Wizard.)
I have never CID unlocked, which was probably why i got the white screen earlier. but do i need to do it know that i am on the wizard love rom?

Glade its working again !
You got a G4 device,it cannot be CID unlocked,but however,it can be upgraded to wm6 or 6.1,read the methods 'HardSPL' or 'SoftSPL' posted as stickies in the G4 forum for upgrading to wm6 or 6.1.

I have to problems:
1. My EDGE doesn't work, i only get GPRS speed data.
2. I can't upgrade to any new rom..... i always get "ERROR [300] Get a newer update utility!"
How can I fix both of these problems?
I have searched forums and google and nothing has come up.

ok,for error (300)you can use the RUU MUNS already posted in the 'HardSPL' thread,download the RUU_MUNS application extract it to a folder and copy and paste all the files of this extracted to the folder of the Rom replacing all the RUU files in that folder or copy the nk.nbf folder in the Rom to the extracted folder of the RUU_MUNS and then run the RUU,it will start to flash and complete and hopefully fully boot up.
For edge or gprs,you'll have to get network settings of your network carrier or check out the thread from where you downloaded the rom,its uaually posted there or check out the 'Network' thread.

One of these error messages will appear when you use the wrong RUU to do the upgrade. RUU will check if the Model ID and Language ID are compatible with the device. Make sure you use the appropriate RUU tool to upgrade.
Hi I just purchased a HTC T-mobile wing from eBay with Aserg OS/ROM upgrade. I wuld like to remove this mod and restore with the T-Mobile factory ROM/OS. I have made several attempts with upgrade process offered through T-mobile. The problem is after 1% of the update is complete the phone resets. There seems to be either something running on the phone preventing the ROM update or I must remove or unlock some software. Any help on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.
