I have recently bought a O2 Xda II, but the native language is GERMAN, so I like to know how can I change GERMAN language. and where I could download the English ROM. thanks a lot

I answer me, so i found the solution about the language update inside of forum: upgrading and modifying it, basically the steps are the next:
1- download dangaard rom qtek 2020 1.60 english.exe
2- download upgrade O2 to DANG16021 file *.zip which are inside in other message
3 - unzip the file in same directory that dangaard rom qtek 2020 1.60 english.exe
4.- run convert.bat and wait until the upload to XDA II finished

Hi everybody, i´m new here and I have a huge prob, my qtek 2020 was updated with the wrong rom. Since i did this the language is english, but it should be german.
What can i do?
Had anybody an original german t-mobile rom update to share?

If I try to update my Qtek with the t-mobile rom the console shows me an Country error.( Code 120).
Cause the OS wich my qtek is working with at the present is an english one.
Will have an german OS what must I do?

decmpress the file you got from t-mobile, delete HimaUpgradeUt.exe and use the HimaUpgradeUt.exe included in this post

I tried as you said but i have still the problem with the Country code.
strange, this cracked HimaUpgradeUt.exe worked fine for my Qtek2020.
You might also try to patch the origional german rom to be suitable for your device.

Hello all,
where can i download a german ROM version for my QTEK 8500?
After installing the latest rom "RUU_STAR100_3.6.251.0_02.67.30_QtekEUR_Ship.exe" the device was in english.
Can anybody extract the german rom and upload it to ftp.

I use the 3.6.261.0 but as I saw haven't german language. But you can add german from the rom that you have.I did this with singular rom that I using before for greek language.

Sorry but I extracted my language from rom before a long time ago and I don't remember how I did in. I found info on how to do it here in this forum. The procedure its the same for rom cooking, you must must create a dump directory from the rom. I remember that I used the nbhtool(found it somewhere in the forum), to extract the rom's nb files and from the windows.nb I extracted with a rom cooking tool(I don't remember which I used) the dump directory. In this directory are all the mui language files(for my language is xxxxxxx.0408.mui, somewhere here again you can find the code for your language, or you can open a mui with a recourse editor and see if the translation is for your language) that you need.

EDIT:
I forgot the obvius. I think that you can try to copy your language mui files from the windows directory of your device to the pc before the rom update.
