Could someone post a brief description of the extended ROM files of the new O2 ROM update - which ones can be deleted and which ones shouldn't? It would help a lot by cooking...

hi cant we make a sticky with cab files + info what its for and what version so you can find all the files you want for the extended rom without reading trough all the posts here ?
maybe the same for the os ?
but only the files and not for posting comments so it stays clean

Maybe it is not the right place for this question, but I got the feeling that only few people are reading other places of the Prophet forum.
So here is my problem and question:
Instead of installing all my apps one by one after a new rom or a hard reset, I am thinking of including the apps into the extended rom folder. My question is "what may be the size of the extended rom folder?"

the size of the extrom is acactly 10 MB

Read the Wm6 Update guide. It can't be bigger than the base extrom image provided in the update package.

Thanks for your quick answer. May I ask you another question, since you are maybe the most experienced guys on this forum. When you have typed texts for some time, some of you own words are added somewhere and these words are also suggested while typing. However, when you update your rom or simply hard reset your device, these added words are gone from the word suggestion list. When I restore a backup the list is back. My question is where can I find my personal added words? Maybe you can save them and restore them to use with a new rom.

I have added mine since I have the same set from Singtel. However I'm not sure how to find some of the details.
I will add it to the wiki if you can tell me which radio version the rom contains.
Ive moved the info to the "shipped WM6.1 ROMs" page, no need for a dumped ROMs page aswell since they are all shipped.

I was just wandering if anyone knows if this ROM contains the original HTC black theme? I ask, because many carriers ROMs often tamper with the theme and add some ugly colours!!

Probably is still build 19965 (rom 1.90) so unless there is any newer OEM stuff it should still be the stock raphael build.

Hi, I'm sure someone will be as it's the latest version, and it'll also be useful to users requiring ROM restoration to have as many different images available as possible in the hopes of matching their original.
So please upload it and post it on the wiki.
Can anyone direct me to a thread on how to rip the rom out of my phone ?

Before i flashed new 6.5 rom on my Iolite, i backet up my original one with this:

see my first post here. I have used kaiserkitchen to rebuild my stock ROM. You will need your rom raw files and an official ROM upgrade as baserom to rebuild.
