i'm just upgrade my rom to the highest version (asian) and it's work great, and i'm trying to install the bluetoohGPS also at my XDA, it also work but there was 2 icon of BT on PDA , anybody know how to fix this problem ? i'm tring find the file at startup but there's nothing .....

i have an XDA II and it starts with o2 active. if i go to My XDA and select connections, select country is set to Germany (I need to get this to UK and make it stay on UK)
when i change this to UK, device then resets and boots back up. go to check it and it's back to Germany.
Do i need to upgrade the ROM to get this to UK Device ? if so, which rom do i get?
will the special rom from XDA Developers do the trick and update my device ?
what the hell do i do if all goes wrong ?
if someone can advise on these questions, i'll be most happy.
also tried setting up the gprs settings for O2 UK and they will not stay in device or connect. i assume that this is to do with the Germany thing ???!!?
god i am so confused, so any help at all guys ?

It is a bug, I had this happen several times, when you are presented with the choice screen wait a while before choosing your country, click firmly and it should work ok.

i've managed to change it to Ireland and it stayed like that for a while
thinking of putting the XDA Developers special rom on and flashing the thing !

being that the special rom is made for xda1 and not 2
and if it would somehow let you upgrade your device with a rom for another device it would prob magcialy turn it in to a brick
and forcing it to sleep for 1024 years unless some beautiful frog kiss'd it or something

any one got any other ideas? or does it even make a difference ?

Hello I just purchased my hero yesterday and this one was deliveried with android 1.5...
I would like to update with the latest firmware wich I think is the 1.6 and software ?

There is no "official" 1.6 (Donut) for Hero at present, and what is available unofficially is not functionally complete.
There are various 1.5 (Cupcake) ROMs kicking about all based on the 2.73 build. Search the Hero ROM development thread for more details.

updating from htc directly depends on whether you have a branded version of the hero or not.
Best thing for you to do would first of all,
1) root your phone
2) install a custom rom based on the 2.7 update
search for ' how to root...' and then search for custom modaco roms.
basically all the tools u need would be just sdk , recovery image and the drivers for ur phone ( which is included when u installed the htc sync)
For me I don't have a branded phone, but how to be sure of it ?

you can install the original 2.73
somehow, if you are not being able to uograde because of identification problems.... just root your phone, and go to modaco site. paul provided us with custom roms but as well as original roms ready to be applied through zip formats.

HI,everyone . A few days ago I flashed a 109 ROM , but now i cant flash it again because is always say that "error 244",besides ,my Mozart's hardware version number is "NA". I haved tried many methods includ goldcard. So i want to flash the original ROMs,just want to have a try...

hi ya all, got my new GS2 from orange, wid nfc, but installed custom firmware (dont know why :banghead: ) n now i have lost ma features like nfc enabler or data enabler. i think i hv used some old firmware tht doesnt support nfc. what shall i do know?. and one more thing its not updating to new firmware. i tried to download new ICS but it says no update available. plz help

hi guys , i alwayse flash my official roms using odin , and its always a one AP ".tar" file , and thats it , but now for my new galaxy s7 edge , when i unzip the file , i have 5 files which they are :
1- AP
2-BL
3-CP
4-CSC
5-HOME CSC
, just how to flash these things plz, only the ap file ? or should i flash others and how plz , and what is the difference between number 4 , and number 5 please
note: i installed only the ap file , but 1 thing i noticed is that there are 2 new official update to the same region my rom is , but its still says that i have the latest software update even though the third update is released , im still stuck on the first released rom that came with the phone when it got released , anw im not sure if this issue related to only flashing the AP file ,
