Hi Guys,
somewhere I read that o2 already ships XDAs with the new 1.60 ROM. I have already updated the ROM with the T-Mobile ROM but I still need the new Extended ROM.
So it would be great, if one of you guys could drop the latest Extended ROM in the Forum, so that users with an old Ext. ROM can upgrade theirs (as long as the official update from o2 has not been released).
If you don't know how to do that, please refer to the German instructions published here:
http://www.smartphone4u.de/xda2/grundlagen/extended_rom.html

Thank you so much...

Hi. I'm very new to the XDA II, just received mine this morning, previously had an SPV E200. I've just tried to register on myxda.com so that I could download the rom updates but it keeps saying I am enetering an invalid IMEI number and therefore I can't register to gain access to the site. Is there any other way of getting the ROM updates and also which is the best Rom to update too. I am wanting to unlock the phone to all netwroks and use with a bluetooth headset and bluetooth gps receiver.
Thanks In Adavnce
P.S. Im in the UK and on the O2 network
The official O2 Rom update can be found at the developers Source O2 site:
http://www.sourceo2.com/O2_Developers/Devices/O2_Xda_II/XdaIIRom.htm
The current version is 1.60.50
I would guess that this is the version you probably have already installed.
There are a number of unofficial ROM updates which could be installed on your XDAII, these can be found searching this forum. The latest ROM version which you could install is the i-Mate 1.72.00.
Before attempting to install any new version I would suggest that you read the following post by dcs which hopefully would help you avoid the common pitfalls of upgrading:

Hello All,
i'm new user to forum.. recently i have upgraded my imate -JASJAM to dopod ROM version 3.54.707.3 Australia. Is there any new ROM version for this, in which we can also include iskoot.
please tell me the download link.
Thanks for your help.
NO official version as the Hermes is now no longer in production.
You may find in the cooked roms but if its something for Oz only then check out CRC's as he is the only Ozzie chef I know who may still be in the kitchen (though I haven't seen any updates recently)...
LAST UPDATE:
Sorry, I found a Serial able to let me download the italian new ROM here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3373904&postcount=17
HTC has released a new Italian ROM for Raphael http://www.htc.com/it/SupportViewNews.aspx?dl_id=501&news_id=67 but I cannot download it because I have a carrier's branded device (by H3G Italy), can someone, please, upload it? With my ROM version I have some issue, and I hope this new one fix some of theme (BT A2DP etc.)
I usually use Cooked Rom with my old devices (Universal and Kaiser), I have no problem with the language but I have many problems with SIP language...that's why I would prefer, this time, to find the original italian (updated) rom...
Thanks in advance
