I was wondering if anyone knows about a Hard Plastic Case for XDA II.
Leather cases make the XDA look chunky
and the aluminium case would be perfect if it didn't cut reception.
Does anyone know of a Pastic Version?

Yeah, the keyboard seems a bit pointless after the inital "gimick" factor, my keyboard is really loose and needs some attention, i want a good case for mine to.... Any1 got any ideas
They make a silicone case for the MDAII... might be able to "modify" this version for the PDA2K...
anyone ever try this?
im willing to try if i can find a black silicone case sold locally...

i don't use the keyboard, i would like to have a silicone case too...
maybe modifiyng the xdaII/2020 case....
I just bought the Brando case after using the Piel Fama case for several months. The case is very secure, holds my MDA3 in place, and still allows access to all the keys. The front flap is hard and protects the screen too. I'm quite happy with it. Maybe the Brando case would be a good alternative.

I'd say its pretty thick. I have it and I can never keep it on for more than a day...
is it as thick as a wizard? or as thick as the 8525?

I found one on eBay, and I know a few people here have bought cases from the same seller. I'm just wondering about the practicality of the cover flap (see attachment) that hangs down during phone calls. Probably a shallow question, but I dunno how tough the leather might be; is it easy enough to fold the flap over, or do you guys just leave it hanging down?
you just leave it hanging down....
A top flip would be better?

The beauty with the Leather case with flip is that it virtually eliminates the annoying mis dialing so easy on the HTC HD as the case has a hard protector that makes it touch proof

Can anyone recommend a thin folio case? All of the ones I have looked at so far seem to be made of padded leather material. Any very streamlined versions? Not looking for elastic corners.

The Asus OEM case is pretty thin...I just ordered a new custom case called either Folioguard or PRIME and appears to be pretty thin.
Mine is supposed to arrive tomorrow ...I'll post my opinion after some time with it.

The ASUS OEM case is about as thin as you will probably get. The material seems to be some sort of rubber or vinyl. Without the case I didn't like the feel of the back of the tab at all but the case makes it perfectly acceptable.
My only gripe with ASUS OEM case (besides price) is it gets "dirty" easy but a damp cloth easily cleans it. Got mine from B&H photo in NY.
Ive been trying to find the perfect case for almost a week now and decided i should finally ask for some help, Im looking for a leather case (or similar feel kinda like the generic iphone 4 case has). The problem ive been having is everytime i look for a leather case i get holsters or flip cases which i dont want. ideally it would fit like a good silicon case (like an otterbox commuter or something) but have a leather or leather like feel to it. Thanks for the help
Check out melkco leather cases. They have some with a flap and some without.
