Got a Q Tek 2020, rom version 1.66.ooWWE and radio version 1.10.00. Are these the latest versions available?
Want to disable the message that appears at the top of the screen when i miss a call, just want the light to flash red. have unticked it using settings in sounds and notifications but it still appears.
Also is there a way to extend the battery life as it's very poor.
yes it's the latest
your batt should get better as you use your device more
otherwise you could buy an extre batt or the backpack which also have a batt in it
and of cause dec the backlight when running on batt
and turning off bluetooth when you are not using it
and turning off recieve beam files when you are not using it
all can be don in system in your start menu
thanks.
what about stopping that annoying symbol that appears if you miss a call. i've unticked the box in sounds & notifications under missed calls, so only the light flashing box is ticked but the symbol still appears if a call is missed.

Need a Notification Tweak for DCD ROM 3.12...
I am very happy to find that the ROM 3.12 makes the led on my VZW-6800 flash amber when I get a new text or missed call. Normal operation it is flashing green at all times. Beforehand I was going to post will this work on our PDA model:
http://www.modaco.com/index.php?automodule=downloads&showfile=2400
Well I have enough of what I need from the led change with the ROM so part of that above is not needed. However there is one function I do miss that Kaiser Notifications tweak provides which all cell phones do...
If a called is missed, text received but not answered/reviewed, etc. etc. it will continue to beep similar to what a cell phone does and slowly expand beeping time out, for example beeps in 5 min, then beep in 10, then 30, 45, 60 then stop. This is so helpful because my PDA my be on my desk out of sight and I miss the initial call/text when it first arrived.
Is there a tweak for the HTC Mogul that can beep and continue to beep a notification in intervals after a missed call, text, message, etc.????
Someone please answer...thx!
i may be mistaken, but i believe it flashes indefinitely, until maybe a soft reset or something. i have the LED Killer cab from stroths that turns off that annoying green LED connection flashing (but no other LEDs, which is great), so the orange flashing is more noticeable. your device should flash orange every 4-5 seconds until you acknowledge the missed call or text. also, S2U2 notifies you of a missed call or text.
heres stroths cab incase you wanted it.
Thx for the info...with the rom 3.12 it flashes green until I acknowledge the message then goes back to the flashing green....
Now, I still need an tweak to the original question is there a way to make the phone beep in intervals when I miss a call, text, etc....???
Thx

Hi folks,
Is there any way to get decent notifications for messages on the Xperia Z2?
I'm used to old nokias and iphones. If I get a message it plays a sound (if the sound is on) and notifies me on screen. I don't need to turn on and unlock my phone to check if I have a missed message or a missed call.
So far on the Z2 I can just set the vibrate and tone, which is fine if I'm near the phone when I get the message, but if I'm not then I probably won't see it until I unlock the phone to do something, which could be hours later.
Can you set the Z2 to flash the led when there are missed calls/messages, or display something on the screen?
Usability-wise this is right up there with the motorola startac 130, which in my mind is still the most user unfriendly phone in the world.
If this can be done without a root/unlock it would be even better!
you have to activate the LED in setting -> display -> last line (as I can remember)
Try Frozen LED, a free app that let's you control the led notifications.
It let's you set colours and flashing speed for different apps.
Even better is you can set them by name. For example if my wife texts, messages or emails me the led flashes purple 4 times a second. Easy to spot.
I've been using PA ROM for Galaxy S3 i9300 for a while now. So far didn't have any major problem except rare auto-restarts. But now I'm facing an issue with LED notifications. While the screen is off for any new notifications at the time of arrival the LED flashes once and that's it, then no pulsing. The notification settings are intact. What could be the problem?
Device GT-i9300
ROM: PA 4.45 for S3 STABLE
Same Here
I9300 with PA 4.45 (STABLE)
LEDs don't work 95% of the time. At first I thought either K9 Mail was a problem or a Gravity Box conflict. I did a second clean install (did not reinstall Gravity Box) but get same results. Regardless of which app. K9 Mail, Whatsapp, etc. Led flashes for a split second and that's it. Sometimes if I turn the display on and off it will start to blink.
Also did a test with Tasker>LED Notify, same results, flashes for a split second. After screen on and off blinks as it should.
Solutions or suggestions would be appreciated

Exactly same problem here. Any notifications like for missed call will work here because the screen is on when the the call is received and the screen goes off, then the led works perfectly fine. Tried also turning of the screen exactly when a generic notification is incoming. After screen off the led blinks as set. The problem is only when receiving something screen off. I don't know how android handles notifications, If known I can find the correct source of the problem.

I assume you meant screen ON. Actually I did a Tasker event for received notification with a Secure Settings tas of "wake device for 1 second". However a) it did not help the LED that way and b) it did not go off after a second.
I will be trying Light Manager as described here . Will advise if it helps but need to get back to work. Been spending too much time on this the last few days!

UPDATE: AcDisplay is working very nicely for me. LEDs work fine and its a neat app too!
First off, LOVE This phone. Coming from Note 3.
I miss the notification light and was looking into making the flash for the camera come on for notifications.
in the Accessibility settings under "hearing" is the check box for "Flash Alerts".
I have checked the box and it will flash for incoming phone, but for email I don't get any flash.
Any thoughts?
Also I was annoyed about having to pick up the phone to turn it on, and then found out you just have to tap the screen twice to turn it on, very happy camper.
(Miatoll board, curtana device. Talking about that little led in the speaker above the camera.)
Does the LED notification light not work?
Mine only ever shows when the phone is plugged in. I can't get it to flash when I have notifications, even though all settings in Android settings seem to be turned on
bump
same here but i have the uk phone version.. like you say only when charging. ?

Yeah I've done exactly the same test. Doesn't work
rom version is 11.0.6.0 could it be that..? no updates available when i checked today..or a faulty phone, does work when it's charging.
anyone have any joy yet, getting led to work
Not trying to self-promote but there appears to be many threads on this problem so I created a new thread so people can find a possible fix easier.
