I have change my old O2 rom(when it released)
to a Imate when these new roms just coming out
(i dont like the o2)
and the problem is that i cant change my roms any more,
even the latest o2 rom
coz it says Country ID error. and just disappear.
Please who can tell me how to erase the rom and how to change the rom

i have a new qtek2020
and i have tried to upgrade it from qtek 1.60.21 to t-mobile 1.60.36
it was succeed, then i have changed ExtRom by e2003edit last version
then i've tried to upgrade from the sam t-mobile but with the new ExtRom
on beginning of upgrading (as any beginning of upgrading) the device switched off and it has written ""Serial, V1.03""
then the upgrading has stop and the device stilled with ""Serial,V1.03""
then i've tried to reupgrading with all ways but without any results"COUNTRY ID","CONNECTION ERROR",or any errors
so maybe the device doesn't have any rom inside it,,,,
please help ,,please please

can i upgrade Qtek2020 with the sd?

Have you tried to start a new upgrade using the normal Qtek 2020 Rom or one that is designed for the phone to get it going again and then try the upgrade to what ever rom.

Try to upgrade normally (ROM, extended ROM, radio) the update program should still detect the device.
I encountered same problem when I tried to replace the uk o2 1.60 ext rom with my own cooked ext rom. The update program was able to delete the extended rom but somehow was not able to write the new extended rom.
If you encounter country code error during code and too lazy to correct it, you can use the O2 launch ROM and upgrade again to any new ROM

and the love rom, should work for G4? 'cause now it's stuck on bootloader
yes the wizard love rom gets most people out of trouble from bootloader mode
it usally hangs for about 5 mins around 95-98% but if you leave it it will flash my advice leave the room for around 10 mins then come back to it

i have O2 wizard and i tryed to upgrade the rom but forgot to unlock it now its on the 3 color screen the process was at 99 % when told me that there was an erorr in coummunications something not the usb now i need the original rom from o2 but cant find it please send me link for the rom no matter what version i dont know what to do now i cant do hard reset and actualy the phone is not mine i took it to upgrade it and ... please help

it would help if you said what language and country you are in then people might be able to help. Simply saying you want the original rom for your wizard isnt going to get you much advice all available original roms are here

I have my own phone’s original rom which is K-JAM_Arabic_2160901_21609102_20710_ship.exe. I installed it before. Now I have problem that I installed hardspl in the phone and then I removed hardspl by teaching How to Remove Hardspl. I want to install original rom but it shows error (296: upgrade only). It is installed only wizard love rom in my phone. Please be kind enough to conduct me how to install original rom.

hi yall this rom is ultimate i really mean great ,,,,,ok 1st i was busy flashing my phone and my son took the cable out in a panic i went and reset it ,no joy , hard reset ,no joy ,,,froze on second boot screen oh btw got wiza 200 g4 locked so i couldnt do that sd flash thing ,i tried all the roms i had ,actually it do it flash finish but after reboot freeze on 2nd boot screen ,,,so finally i downloaded THE LOVE ROM flash the phone and after reboot ,the fone booted up as per normal with no probleme ,,,,SO TO THE CHEF OF THE LOVE ROM

Could it be the radio rom that is preventing my gene to access my phone operator? cause the name of the rom says:
RUU_Gene_hTC_Asia_India_1.17.720.1_4.1.13.34_02.79 .90_Ship
So its radio rom version 02.79.90 right? for asia and india?
I think i just need a new radio rom that will work in europe (portugal) or an original rom that contains a radio rom.
So if anyone has any, can please share it here? or anyone that could kindly dump an original rom?
