bluetooth sd card - MDA, XDA, 1010 General

I have an XDA 02 can any tell me if I can get a bluetooth sd card to make it work with bluetooth headsets
Thanks
Baron

To my knowlege unfortunatley no..
the xda 1 only has a standard sd card slot and does not support s.d.i.o
you need an sdio slot to use and peripherals like bluetooth sd cards and wifi sd cards.
i may be wrong but thats what ive heard so far,
you can use sd card cameras because they only send data to the xda, they dont recieve it too, this is the basis behind sdio *sd, input/output*
bluetooth and wifi cards require to send data and recieve so it wouldnt work with a non sdio slot.. ;-(
sorry dude

SDIO GPS receiver

Has anyone try this GPS? It goes into the SDIO slot? The smalles and compact i/ve seen so far....SIRF III

This is a miniSD sdio device, not a microSD... so it's not compatible with hermes.
Don't be confused because it provides a microSD hole so you can use GPS while having your data (maps?) on a microSD storage card.
you are right...the slot is microSD...but not the interface

StarTrk WiFi

Has anyone considered using the camera designed WiFi + memory cards - there is a 4gb one available but I dont want to spend that sort of money to upgrade the phone if its not going to work with the StarTrk
If anyone has tried this could you let me know?

Jemma
Those cards won't let the phone connect to the internet; The cards connect to the network themselves for managing the photos they contain.
The device doesn't see a WiFi adapter, but rather a storage device.
man, you are not correct, you can buy a wifi MICRO SD CARD and put in the phone slot, so in theory you can conect to internet; previously you need to upgrade to WM 6.1 Pro...
WIFI MICRO SD Card is not one of these eyephoto crappola boxen.
The problem with most of the WIFI SD is that they dont have memory built in so far as I know and are longer than a standard card also, which will not fit in the Startrk
As an update to this - the OMAP850 chip has wireless capabilities built in - so whether it would possible to somehow get someone working on getting this connected to an arial and have it set up into a ROM?
It might even be possible to swap over the board for the VOX into the Startrk to provide this capability...

[Q] Does microSD slot support SDIO?

Hello
Does anyone know if the Droid RAZR microSD slot supports SDIO cards? This would be important if we want to use for example NFC microSD cards for Google Wallet.
From the Chip Block Diagram of the OMAP4430 it is not clear to me if the SDIO always connected to a microSD slot or if it might be that "only" SD storage cards are possible without any IO functions.
Any input on this is highly appreciated

[Guide]How to use 2 sims and memory card

Hi guys I found a way to use 2 sims and a memory card
Watch this video
MOD EDIT: VIDEO DELETED
use sim card extender. worth 2$
Sim card extender which is not user friendly.
lol thats the jankiest i have even seen, id rather disassemble the phone in properly install it.

not being able to insert 3 cards simultaneously

Hello I have a question. Is it true that you can not simultaneously insert 2 SIM cards and an SD card?
Yes, it is true. Pocophone could use either two nano SIM cards or one nano SIM card and one SD card.
You could use two SIM cards and a SD card in Xiaomi A2 Lite, for example.
Though sachiru raises the idea of using a SIM extender to combine 2 SIMs with an SD card here . Personally I'd say just get a 128mb Poco to start with - the price difference compares well with external SD memory
