Looking for someone in Belgium (so I can call or visit) who already try to connect QTEK2020 to PC via BT Dongle and sync OK.
I have a cheap Dongle from TRUST, and I would like to Sync my QTEK2020 with my PC using the BT Dongle
I can't get it to work??
I have try the original BT from Microsoft (included in the ROM) = not working
I have try the BT from widcom, same thing, can't get it to work also

Hi all,
I have trouble with printing via IrDA from my T-mobile MDA (O2), it connect to printer and then it say "failed". Printer is OK, I tested it with IrDA mobile phone and print correct.
Can anybody help me.

Hi all,
since I've installed Win2003Se I can't use ActiveSync By Bluetooth connection.
When I hit on Connection via Bluetooth nothing happens, serial port connection and user autentication don't start.
My PDA recognize without problems the Bt device on my Pc, only ActiveSync is the problem.
Anyone ca help me?

It is a BUG of 2.20 CHS version,it was discussed time ago.
Actually there is no patch to this.
Maybe you can try install Widcomm Bt
stack and activesync
There are no ActiveSync problems with WM 2003 SE. Please do a search on how to resolve it.

Hi, the problem isn't in Active Sync, but using it by Bluetooth.
When start Active Sync via Bt don't start any service..so I think the problem is in serial port connection..

I have instaled and tryed on my XDAII 2 versions of the Yahoo!Messenger for Mobile .. but both don't connect .. (I have tryed both USB/grps or internet, but non of these work).. What is this ? Does this thing depend of the newtork or country witch I am using? Or, what could be the problem ? Can you recomand me some other messenger-like programs ? (I have tryed Agile and IM+ vers 4 trial :lol

I have always had success with this method, back when i was using the normal stock Qtek ROM, and AS 4.1 (and i still use it now as my default and only way to connect to my PC)
Install USBKiller.cab
Make sure it is set to SERIAL and not RDNIS
Go to settings-->Connections-->USB to PC --> make sure there is NO tick mark in "Enable advanced network functionality"

thanks thanks thanks my friend after hours and hours trying sincronize my prophet and after a lot of hard formats you solve my problem. Finally my s200 is working good with my pc. just one question there are some problem if i update wm5 to wm6 using this serial connection?
Don´t forget. If some time you came to Portugal tell some thing so i can buy you a beer ehehehe

I'm from portugal dude, send in the grade de minis
You can use it to upgrade, I did it too. By the way, If you try to connect with vista you'll need to go back to rndis connection, so this cab is a diamond
My Qtek S200 Is Blocked (HTC Prophet)

this cab is really a diamond, i spend hour and hours try connent s200 to pc and research in net and suddenly a tuga solve my problem. I think this deserve a grade o medias lolollo.

I have an O2 XDA Neo (htc prophet), with the O2 ROM (german rom) i had no problems connecting to internet through my pc using wifi, but when i updated to a french ROM (RUU_Prophet_215738_2157127_023021_QTEK_FRE_Ship_NoVendorID) i can connect to the pc, but can't access internet, it says "page introuvable" (page not available or smth like that). I get the same thing when i tried wifi in public places (university, cafés...)
I tried everything, changing configurations on xda and pc ... still nothing, and this is my second XDA Neo with the same problem (I bought a new one thinking it was a hadware problem, but obviously not since it worked before with the german rom)... Help !! I really need wifi at the university !!
Guys, I tried to connect with GPRS but the same problem occured "page cannot be foud...", so now I can only use connection through my usb cable !!

Have you tried using a WM6 ROM and seeing if the problem continues? If you want a language other than english, try one of Gullums Coffee ROMs.
actually i thought of it and i'm using a wm6 now, for the GPRS it just needed some settings (the proxy server port ...) and it works fine. But for wifi still the "page cannot be found" error
ok now it's working, I don't know how or why, but today i was able to use internet through wifi in a café. At last I'm 100% satisfied about my ppc
Ok I have the xda terra/ Herald 100 but the german rom i dont speak Duetch is there anyway I can switch it over to English?

You will need to flash a ROM onto the herald, but I haven't got one so I can't help with that...

Hey I got this http://rapidshare.com/files/49315340/HTC_P4350_WWE_4.17.405.2_4.1.13.44_02.94.90_Ship.exe I tried flashing it but it goes to 2% and then come back error 294 invalid vendor ID
I don't know anything about the Herald. Try looking at that forum and posting there.
I'd guess from that however that your device is either CID Locked or no HardSPL has been applied. Please look at the Herald Forum for that.
