hmm, can you post a copy of your rom?
you can copy the rom with pmemdump from itsutils.
well it had that rom when i got it so i cant really compare it with 1.60 since i went from a xda1
i'll look into drumping the rom
but it does seem to have some auto settings and such for
some phone company
usually the phone company specific stuff is in the extended rom.

usually the build number is just the ExtROM right? example, the latest tmobile rom i saw in the other thread had 1.60.36, but the os was simply 1.60.00, and the radio was 1.10.00, and the extrom was 1.60.36
does that mean that IF we extract whatever newest rom that comes out in the future and see that it has the same osrom ver and radio stack, merely upgrading the ExtROM is the best way to go?
I mean i know people prefer to only flash the ExtROM, but that's because they want to cook something up. But what if you just want to upgrade and not waste time with the OS if you see they still have the same number, does it HAVE to come hand in hand to upgrade? Or could you just bypass the others and upgrade the ExtROM and expect it to perform like a real update?

I already downloaded the DCS's WM2003SE from the first page on his listing but when i install the WM2K3 its was ok but the Ext ROM is only 1.72. if any one can let me have the link please i will be greateful

I downloaded two files as DCS posted in his forum
thats y i have Ext Rom 1.72
so can anyone else post me the Ext ROM 2.02 other wise i have to wipe everything and install everything on my XDA

Firstly, Don't be panic. Because Wm2003SE ROM is not official ROM ,there is no complete Ext ROM for both WM2003SE 2.02t1 and 2.06 as well.
But you can use other Ext ROM that are posted by another expert such Sin for Australian version and Zeroextreme for Asian edition.
Secondly, version of Ext ROM is not the main issue because it due to some .cab file in Ext ROM. The main thing is about file in Ext ROM that compatible with WM2003SE.

It is possible to extract it (see the wiki on NBH files), but we cannot sign it and we don't have the proper private key from HTC... which they will not give to anybody.
When you try to flash it the bootloader says "Check cert error!", so no radio-upgrade only possible yet
ahhh, makes sense. thanks pof. I am having trouble deciding if I want to wipe my 1.18 tytn by upgrading to the imate rom or wait since hopefully an HTC load is just around the corner....

Its in German , I would like to change the language to English and upgrade all of the above to the latest software (will be suing phone 98% of time in UK)
