please please can someone who is clever tell me how the HE*L i get my XDA2 to work with any bluetoth car kit, it finds the nokia but still does not work aaaarrrrrrggggggggh
Parrot CK3000 works with BTTools 10,12.
Voice dialer dont work but I do it with Vito Voice Dialer and it works.
The carkit needs to support the BT Headset profile.
AFAIK Nokia BT carkits dont!
The Parrot does.

TomTom comes through the speaker of my XDA2, not my BT201 Headset. I am running the 'latest' O2 ROM upgrade v1.60.50:
TomTom support informed me "2. Using a Bluetooth headset as well as the Bluetooth GPS receiver has been tested positively on this PDA. Please contact the O2 Support if your PDA does not connect to two Bluetooth devices at the same time. "
I've tried contacting O2 Support & given up after 30 minutes on TWO occasions
Any help appreciated!
I believe that this is correct but you have just misinterpreted what they have said. I think that what they mean is you can still use your BT headset for making and receiving calls while using the BT GPS receiver, this doesn’t mean the sound will go out through the BT headset, this isn’t possible.
However having said that, I don’t actually own a BT GPS receiver so I can't be 100% sure, I could be wrong and if I am I'm sure one will correct me.
I can confirm that using my Bluetooth Headset with a Holux GR230 bluetooth receiver is working fine for making and receiving calls in tomtom 3. But to get tomtom instructions throught the headset would by nice too, but I think there are still bluetooth profiles missing?? (audio profile?) I have installed Bluetooth tools.

Can you, for example, simultaneously have a BT Headset and BT Handsfree with both working properly. Currently the mic. doesn't work on Handsfree (and it should work).
Does it have an improved Windows BT implementation or is it based on Widcomm?
Thanks
Yes, I have just tested it for you. I have paired a BT GPS, a Mr Handsfree Headset and a handsfree carkit. All the devices work fine. Alse all the functionality of my carkit is working.
Thanks,
Does it have a more organised Bluetooth Manager? On the XDA II (WM2003) it is very inadequate. The microphone is turned off in the handsfree profile for example and you can only define one headset amd one handfree device.

This would be most useful. Tried searching Google... can't find any software that does the job. Anyone else know of any?

Hi! I have i-mate PDA2k Rom 1.40 BT 1.3900 and BT Stereo headset Motorola HT 820 - all work fine, but other BT handsfree (Celink, Jabra 250) don't work fine.
hi all
i've read that there is the possibility to listen to ttn5's voice in BT headset while himalaya is paired with gps BT receiver.
I even read that, making this system upgrading, headset's functions are disabled.
is it true?
is there the possibility to listen to ttn5's voice while bt receiver is paired AND mantain headset/handsfree's functions?
I've wm2003 se 2.06 installed
thanks all

Why do you need an app?
Just pair HD2 with Parrot and away you go. Mine works perfectly. Even set up voice dialling which works a treat.
working here too... the only issue is that sometimes it just won't pair.... randomly...
andyk... voice dialng.... is it via car kit or ms voice command?
