Old rom
I have downloaded the "update", but it is an older ROM than my 8500 shipped with. I have 1.02.252, this is 1.02.251
There's a new bootloader too - see the Qtek 8500 support forum on Expansys. No details of what it fixes (or why the version number is older) though...
guys this isnt a new ROM...its been out for months. Dont bother installing as it doesnt resolve the missed calls. There was one ROM that was shipped with the phone and there was a test rom that was never released and that too doesnt fix the missed calls

Here you can read that a new firmware is avaible to htc s310, but where do i download. I tryed to register to the site but the IMEI in wrong when i reg. (Im sure that i write correct)

The update that you speak of is simply the release ROM for the Danish version of the S310.? HTC have not yet released a ROM update for the S310 and as such what you request does not exist.? Please keep an eye on the HTC website, as any ROM update that is released for the S310 would most likely be released there.

Noticed on the HTC Australia download site (http://www.asia.htc.com/Asia/au/support_download.html - requires userid), HTC posted a new ROM as of end Jan 2008.
ROM v1.31.710.12 (previous was v1.31.710.11)
Radio v1.58.21.23
I have installed it on my unbranded, unlocked Touch Dual.
No noticeable / obvious changes (eg WiFi settings )
There was no changelist posted, so don't know what to expect - maybe just a bugfix release?
Very interesting, it would be great to have a list of changes to see if it is worth upgrade or in my case downgrading from Toms Rom..... No... nothing is going to be as good as Toms.

Well, tom_codon's rom is WM6.1, so yes, it's definitely the best one we have to date.
i would like to try this rom, i tryed to register, but my S/N is not, probably, corret for ASIA... I have bought my DUAL in Czech republic...
can someone upload it somewhere?

Similarly - please upload! I'm trying desperately to completely debrand my Orange-card-carrying Niki, and an original HTC ROM for the the Niki would be superb.
yeah a new rom and radio would be very very nice indeedy , i have bought this dual as a replacement for my hermes and the only thing that is missing is a nice new rom.
