Provider information customization in rom's - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 ROM Development

Ok I've got the customizing roms down pat, but I'm trying to figure out a way to provide provider customizations in the rom so that it sets the unit up for the particular provider. I've downloaded some of the others customized roms but can't figure out a way to customize them as they don't look like I can edit them.
TIA,
Andy

Help identifying this icon set

Sorry if this is a bit out of place in the ROM development forum, but I was wondering if anyone here can help me identify the name of these set of square icons, if they are part of a series. I noticed a lot of the chefs here have used these in their ROMs. The icons look great, and I'd be interested in getting more of the set. Thank you .
These icons are from recent HTC 6.5 ROM's, HTC has created new icon art for the start menu I'm not sure if the full set is posted anywhere.
I got this from Topaz leaked AT&T. There are some icons that you see in there in this. Have fun.
Thanks for the replies guys. Yes, these are what I've been looking for. I've tried looking around but couldn't find any more of these in the forum. Anyone would be so kind as to post some more sets? Preferrably in icos and dlls, but pngs are cool too. Thank you.

Customized animations questions.

Hello everyone,
I will appreciate and will be very thankful for your thoughts concerning the following-
I am an animator with zero android programing knowledge.
I was thinking about creating and selling (on the android market) unique animations that are meant to be customized as a lockscreen.
As I do not really familiar with the programing world, I was wondering if there is a way/place/platform where I will be able to provide such animations so people will be able to buy and customize them within an already built app that enables such customization option( and even better, for other options as well, like- live wallpapers, splash animations, boot animations etc')
While looking on the web, I came across with people who sell lockscreen themes that are built upon "known" apps that enable lockscreen customization, but as I am new to this world I do not know how to do such thing as well as how to sell such app/themes.
As I only create animations(I export them as video files and able to convert them to any format necessary), I will be very happy to know if there is a simple solution to the above without the need to deal with programing but to still be able to somehow offer my work on the android market (or in other ways)
Thank you, in advanced, for any advice that might solve that challenge.
Kind regards,
I.

Possible to Edit Status Bar?

This is my second Android device and to be frank I try to keep up to date with all the new iterations of the OS but have been stuck with Froyo and Gingerbread with my previous phone.
For the life of me I can't figure out (assuming it's even possible) how to edit my status bar. I'm attempting to remove the battery icon and clock from said bar.
Any help would be appreciated.
Note: This is for the Verizon version (assuming that matters).
Stock android (from any carrier's theme or ASOP) does not offer this ability.
HOWEVER, many ROMs across various devices often have these already customized or in a few cases include a 'tweaks' type app where you can customize it yourself.
It's just a matter of time for the developers to come up with Custom ROMs that have all the bells-n-whistles.
I sorta suspected that, but I'll remain disappointed nonetheless
Thank you for the information

[Q] Custom Rom Setting Menu

Hey guys, I recently got into the chef scene and feel iv had great progress thus far.
My rom null_ for the SGSIII (link in signature for further info) has come a long way since its first release a while back.. Im wanting to take it to the next level tho.
What I am aiming to do is a add a custom menu to the system settings .apk, Something like "Rom tools" similiar to AOKP's, which would simply list links external apk's of my choice with there icons. Doesnt have to be nothing majorly flashy..
Id obviously have to disable the launcher icon for these apk's also.. seems easy enough..
If anyone can point me in the right direction to a guide or help me out on this project I would appreciate it very much. Pretty much any information is welcome.
Thanks for reading.

[Q] using same dot twice on android unlock screen

I Have a Rooted android and ive done some looking into and cant seem to find any apps or information into what im trying to do.... I am trying to use the one of the dots on my android twice in an overlapping patter that i believe would make a cool looking pattern that ive come up with and that will still secure my device. has anyone tried this or found a way to do it or, maybe even change the color of the doubled dot from green to purple or some drastic color change like that so that the difference can be seen. any links to guides on how to do it or apps would be helpful. PS i have no android coding experience only a basic class in C++
I looked at the lockscreen replacements on Google Play, but I didn't see any that have that feature. There might be a custom ROM you could flash that has that, although I've never encountered one. The only other way to do that would be to edit the source code of a ROM, specifically the source for Keyguard.apk (although I may be wrong on that part), add that functionality, and then build it yourself, which, in my opinion, would be a very large amount of work for a feature that small, and it would require you to know Java.
