so this is showing that u dont have read the post how to upgrade step by step guide..first you have to unlock ur spk...dear.once its done u can flash any suitable rom for device..now download the attachment from step by step guide...post.copy olipro hspl.exe to ur phone memory.then click on it.press yes ur phone will be restarted..if ur phone is old gene then no worry. u will have spl 1.xx.olip..and if its not then follow the guide given in oreflow folder...best of luck..its easy man
hey guys i spent an hour with his guy on orkut to help him to upgrade but he is so confused and havent read the guide properly
i asked him to give me access to his pc via team viewer but he refused and his gene is nw bricked....
lets hope he will read the whole guide again carefully
Siddhesh, if you really want to save your phone, please read the guide and follow step by step, otherwise you may not be able to see your phone working again Please dont be impulsive in this matter, ROM flashing is a little complex subject and needs some study.

i cud do everytthin till patching the rom carefully but tho taking precautions i made a mistake of flashing the rom at d tym wen screen was white n now
it is goin in tricolor screen showing spl as 1.10.olip
n wen i run rom update utility it asks me to get newer update utility plz tel me wat shud i do?

NO your phone is not lost. Just Remove the battery, Press and hold power button for 15 seconds or more, and then reinsert battery. After that, go to Tricolor screen and try the steps again. If you are not sure you can do it properly, please take it to service center, they will reflash it for very little or no fee Dont worry, atleast there is no hardware damage done to phone.

well i repeated d steps n den ran the rom update utility in orekfov folder! den i waited for it too boot n as i had installd rom earlier it ran properly wid my gene !!
now my gene is updated!

1.i am having One Problem in my phone is My G-Sensor is not working from one side,
and Due to it my auto screen rotate is also working Wrong side from Down to up

2.i need to Put Android in My phone i need Proper Guide step by step, from other thread i did put put android using HaRet Exe. And Gen.Y DualBOOT but when it install i dont understand it mean if i touch any app it is not responding so again i boot it to windows also on duel boot screen it shows after Soft Reset "Android Missing"

Format the SD card, install a new fresh rom for windows, that would help for the G sensor, and for Android, check out the HTC Diamond forum, they have guides and also you could ask for help over there

first, i`m a chinese ， my english is not，last day I found X10 2.2beta3， so I`m very happy to upgrade, But I read a lot of tutorials, I found that wo must Xrecovery my phone，I do it ,but When I restart the phone，I press the return key，It still stuck in SE.I can only pulled out the battery.
anyone knows how to solve this problem？

Hi everyone,
Please can anyone tell me where to find a good and stable ROM for flashing my HTC Tianxi T9188. My brother brought it back from China and left it with me. Unfortunately, I dont understand the Chinese language it came with and need to flash in an English ROM to be able to use the phone.
Its a shame that I have such a nice phone but cant use it due to the language issue.
Please HELP!!!

HTC Tianxi is the China only released version of the HD2. Some differences - CPU, RAM and TD-SCDMA. To me this seems a slightly lower spec'd phone than the HD2.
Check out pdadb.net - run pdacomparer. Doubt there would be any other language version's. At your own risk you could try some HD2 - built roms or ICS Andriod roms.
Thats the problem tx. I was hoping I culd get an English ROM for the HTC Tianxi T9188 and not have to experiment with the HD2 ROMs, considering that both phones have different hardwares. Thats the risk I dont wanna take cos of the possibility of bricking the phone. I did come across an Android ROM though but I can see CHS in the name of the ROM which tells me that it is still a Chinese ROM all the same.
Another problem I am facing is flashing the HardSPL for the Tianxi. It us using SPL 1.27.0000 and I cant find a hardspl flasher which is compatible with it. I have searched here and in other forums and Google and any other place you can think of, still nothing. Have tried the ones I have seen online and always met an error. Any help here will be most appreciated.

If you have SD Card try loading (SD version) in the root and (MAGLDR) boot etc. If that works then it may take NAND versions.
Other than experiment, sorry cant be of more help.
I have tried all the hardspl flashers I can find in the thread you gave ... from HSPL to HSPL4. Non of them could work for the Tianxi. All gave the same BAD ID error and wont flash the HardSPL.
Please help me anyone ... I am getting frustrated by this
