I dont know what was it that i installed and then uninstalled but one thing I know for sure is that when I create a word document and then try to delete it the confirmation box comes up for Yes or No over there I am getting check boxes instead of Yes or No, where ever the confirmation box comes I dont get Yes or No I get check boxes and I have a feeling its the caller ID that I installed and then uninstalled and switched back to wm2003se default.
I am sure someone will let me know how to fix it, so please go ahead and help me out.

ive tried many soft reset's but no effect what so ever

Last night I turned off the phone by pressing Right key for a few seconds and in the morning, I turned it on. But now, when I want to set my code to unlock the phone (I know, its correct code), it dont work. Actually, it doesnt show any message or do anything. Can someone help me? I cant do hard reset because of contacts and files. I tried soft reset, but without success.

I know other who has this problem, Leo changes the password. I have even contacted HTC and they said I had to hard reset the phone
im having the same problem but only after trying to flash radio, which failed and gave me an erroe, desided to leave it alone and when i rebooted, all was well until i locked the screen. i have hard reset the phone like 5 times and tried redownloading ruu and kumar roms again... its a huge no go.. any idea?
I've found CHT 2.0b and Exchange can clash, and cause the password to screw up, if that's any help. I'm on one of the latest NRGZ roms.
Hi Everyone,
I have a Samsung Galaxy 5 I5503. My small cousins played with it and put in the wrong pattern to unlock, now i cant even login (gmail) to unlock my phone.
I have decided to hard reset it. but pressing Vol up + Center button + Power button does nothing the download mode works.
Can some one suggest how i can workaround this?
I am even ready to flash it but can someone give me a step by step info i will be greatful.

Here you can get step by step procedur for flashing your G5.Keep in mind that touchscreen wont work if you flash the firmware of i5508.
thank you ramu.rocks4u, i saw this thread and followed it and u are rite the touch does not work. but even after the flash, the phone still asks for username and password.
I tried different ways of hard reset and factory resets but none work.....
Need help???

Do you know you username but not your password, or know neither of them?

Hi, a friend has this same problem but we don't really want to flash it, i read that there's a way to factory reset pushing some buttons...does anybody know which buttons are? thx.

i heard that if you plug it into kies, you can somehow download a file that automatically factory resets your phone, probably designed for when this happens. Maybe you could try looking around on there or something? (i cant confirm it as my phones cm)

i need some help,
i've got my dads sony ericsson xperia x10 mini pro phone, sadly he passed away 13weeks ago
i tried to work out what his pattern lock was but did it wrong far too many times, now its asking me for his googlemail login details, well as u can see i cant ask him... i can not access any part of the phone to do a restore as i need the details to login..
so can any body help me on doing a hard restore as ive tried holding the left and right buttons whilst pressing the power button but no luck...
i need to get in to the phone so i can use it as mine is now broken,
can
anybody shed some light on what to do that s not going to cost me any money,

Why you can't ask him? At least ask him to put the password and then you deactivate the security lock.

Oh, really sorry. Really, really sorry, I didn't get at first. Sometimes my english is awful. Do you know if he had recovery installed? Try to reboot in recovery and do a backup in case you want to keep any app or it's configs.. Then enter factory reset, reboot phone. Everything right, install App Extractor and recover the apps you want from the recovery.
In case he hadn't any recovery, I think the only option is reinstall Android, using SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service).
Again, sorry for the thing I said in my earlier post.

ive connected the phone via usb to my notepad but when i click on the usb via my computer it says to insert a disk to disk drive??
i honestly have no idea what to do, ive tried to download the sony ericsson pc suite but where i use a internet dongle it dont download...
i dont want to pay for the phone to b reset when i know i can do it myself some how and places round here have said they'd charge £50-£60 just to do it!!!!

First, I want to apologize if I put this thread in a wrong section. I'm a rookie in smartphone world. I did do the search before I posted but I couldn't find the answer.
I have a big problem with my ZOPO. Its a pass-code locked. Did I do it? I really dont know. Maybe I did, maybe I didn't. The problem occurred when I came back to my country. I've changed the sim card and since then its asking me for pass-code. I have no idea whats my pass-code is. All I see on my screen is "My Name - Please enter the Privacy Protection password to unlock" message.
Power button+Volume up button instructions, which I found here for a different model of ZOPO didn't work. It just boot to unlock screen. Only 3 physical button are there....Power, volume and camera.
Please can you help me to unlock my phone. If you need any other info, please let me know. I really hope you can help me. You would make old man very happy.

I was able to access recovery and factory reset. I've tried both but I still get the "Enter Pin" screen.
The phone did factory reset but the pin screen is still there. The only difference is that I don't see my name anymore on the screen.
Please, is there a way to fix this.

The factory reset should have done away with the passcode lock. I'll do some more research to find out what can be done to fix you, but I was SURE that this would fix ya!

Thank you very much for helping me. I'm really stuck and I need my phone back.
As you can see on the picture, that supposed to be the option for factory reset, if I'm right.
I bought a pre-owned swift2. The previous owner had a google account which he told me he had removed the phone from his account, but when I try to set the phone up it wants me to use a previously synced account and wont let mr do anything else or let me see any other screens. I have done a hard reset but no difference. can anyone help please.
so you can't get to do a factory reset? whenever i've had a new phone it asks to use a google account, copy from another phone or skip and start fresh. you don't have that option?
ask the previous owner to take the phone off his google account. if he still has it in his name it might cause problems.

I have done a hard reset then try to set up the phone by trying both copy data and set up as new ( I don't have a skip option on this screen) when I enter my details I get a message saying unable to sign in to the device due to an unknown error try another
e mail or try again in 24 hours. Do you think I am doing something wrong?
i'm not sure if it's your fault or not. possibly the original owner not cleared the phone, possibly the phone not done a factory reset. try to get into recovery mode to do a factory reset.
