WM2005 Installation
Ok- I've downloaded the 3 files from www.biddle.biz for the Himalaya. Now, could someone please walk me through the steps to install?(simple, please) Also, do I need Activesync 4 on my desktop? The latest I've got is v3.8 . Thanks for your help.

a couple of months ago, one of my friend who work for MS try to send me a test version WM2005 for xda2, CHS version
that was a 128MB .BIN file I don't know how to use it so I did not download it.
I am not sure it is worth to try this test version.

Whatever you guys want to do in terms of downloading WM2005 betas is up to you, you understand the risks and also the fact, I'm sure, that it's illegal to host such files without MS permission.
It's probably bad enough posting links to hosting addresses on this forum, but someone UPLOADING the files to THIS ftp site would, frankly, be stupid. That's a sure fire way to guarantee that MS shut XDA-Developers down.

I have flashed my Raphael to various builds of WM6.5 and I have experienced problems with numerous applications which simply do not work as they did with WM6.1, e.g. PocketStockMonitor, TrueTerm, PhysicsHelp,... For that reason I should like to switch back to the last WM6.1 ★ EnergyROM, since I have made very good experiences with these series. Does anybody have a download link to this Rom?

There's actually a 2.0 4-17-09 build that NRG has out there. It was more stable than the 4-16-09 (in my experience).

If you want a 6.1 ROM only i see some 6.1 ROMs by NATF.
the thread is still there somewhere on the 2nd or third page of this forum.

Energy never seems to have published a WM6.1 ROM. But in case you are interested in 6.5 only then you can check out the past of Raphael ROM dev thread. That should work IMHO.

I thought EnergyROM 2.0 (released long time ago before phoenix 2, akeo, photon, genesis, warhawk, phoenix, and EnergyROM 3.0) was based on WM6.1
The 1.0 and 2.0 energy roms were both based off of 6.1, the thread is still here, but the download links don't work.
So people can stop debating about whether it existed or saying "OMG, just check the thread, newb"
Now, back to what the original poster (and myself) are wondering... Does anyone have a mirror or could upload the old energyrom ROM?
Hopefully the 4/16 or 4/17 version of energyrom 2.0.

And as far as being in the minority of people that "want" 6.1, I'm guessing others are in the same position as me, and depend on software that does not work on windows 6.5.

i have all of nrgs 2.0 on my computer so if it allows me to upload it to this post then flash away ! if not , pm me for my email if your willing to rapidshare or site upload it , because thats something i wont do on my own!
ok so its not letting my upload the rom it seems. so what i will do is say my email is only a pm away and ill give it to you their , hopefully someone will rapidshare it and add it to this thread or just give me the link and ill add it to this post. Better yet the OPs post .
for me the most stable wm6.1 NRGROM was the V1 26/3/09... best battry life EVER! Nothing went wrong EVER! this should be voted as the greatest rom EVER!
