i have MOVISTAR TSM500 witch is exactly XDA 2. When i try to run setup to update rom it says country error ? Whan do i need to do to have win2003 final version in english ???

After upgrading my simfree Qtek2020 originaly with french Os to the Tmobile NL pre-release 1.60 firmware , there is now a country error when trying to flash the device with a new firmware (the Dan...).
Does someone know how to get rid of this and workaround it?

You will upgrade it using normal updgrade... :roll:
Before update the Extended rom was read only,
The upgrade upgrade rom, radio and extended rom then after that the extended rom is always read only.
What do you suggest to upgrade a UK O2 XDA II to WM2003 SE ?
I saw different versions (chinese, australian, etc...). Is there something specific for UK version of XDAII ?
Which is the safest ?

I have a Vodafone V1605 and it comes in English lenguage.
I want to upgrade to a Spanish ROM (hopely the last ROM) but I don't now how to do it or where to find the correct executable ROM file.
My PDA Phone is SIM Free and I'm affraid if the new ROM could change it, Is it possible?

Currently Vodafone Spain has not released any rom upgrade yet, and there's no other ROM upgrade available in spanish.

I tryed to upgrade with an i-Mate spanish ROM (JAM_ESP_11203_159_11210_ship.exe) but an error occurs. Something like "Wrong country".
How can I solve this problem?
In addition, the bluetoth has not the "OBEX" service, so I can't send any stored item. Could this function be 'unlocked'?

I know, I'm Spanish too, but vodafone Spain has still not published ROM upgrades. VF Spain ROM upgrades will come in the future I guess....

BE CAREFUL!!! You were trying to flash a Jam ROM, imate Jam is HTC Wizard, not HTC Hermes, you should flash "JasJam" ROMs but not "Jam" ROMs. Luckily it did not flash, otherwise you could have bricked your unit!
For now just be patient, when a ROM upgrade is available in Spanish we will publish it on the shipped ROMs wiki page.

I'm also looking for the original O2 Rom, I now have a O2 XDA Mini S without a O2 phone number. Unfortunatly the O2 website requires the telephone number that belongs to the IMEI number. But I don't have the phone number
Who can please help me with this rom ? The phone is bricked during a flash to the Qtek Rom using Shelltool
