I have two questions:
1. what is the latest ROM available for I-Mate (PH10B) running PPC 2003? and where can i get it?
2. Does this ROM fixes the IR issue with I-Mate? non of the tv remote program for PPC seems to be able to work with it.
I do believe that the IrDA on the XDA2 is not consumer compliant. Therefore it will not work with TVs VCRs or DVDs etc.

Is there a beta for AKU3.2 available for the Tytn and has anyone tried it. I also own a JASJAR and really loving working in AKU3.2

yes, i am runing the aku 3.2 rom in my old blueangel, but... so far we only have aku 2.6 for the Hermes
it would be nice to have it for the Hermes.

Where have you been? I'm already running AKU 4.5 on my TyTn.
Oh no.. sorry that's ActiveSync. Hahaha.
We haven't hacked the TyTn yet, so as soon as someone finds a way of cooking roms we can create AKU 3.2 roms. I also have a XDA IIs and run AKU 3.2 on it and it's pretty nice.

Ok so I went ahead and asked the Customer Service at HTC UK about the update for TyTn and this is the reply I got. Interestingly they pointed me to this forum, and that too, to an update for the JASJAR...so what does it mean can I use the same ROM for the TyTn??? And if someone wants to ask them when do they expect the AKU upgrade for the Tytn to be ready. 'Cus from the looks of their website they don't seem too keen to support their customers in a major way anytime soon.

You mean installing "Universal" ROM on "Hermes"? Cannot work..
Don't know why did they point me towards a universal rom...guess their way of saying that's what available in the upgrade but you can't have it.

i was getting bored.. so i tried.. it says device error .. please upgrade with the rom for your device type ...(its not verbatim)

1) Find a tall building with roof access
2) Hold device out over the edge of the roof
3) Let go
You should get the same reslts
Or before you let go threaten it to pretend to be a jasjam or you'll let go, if that works let everyone else know

I have a G4 Locked device (qtekA9100/cingular8125) and i want to upgrade it, Basically because on the original one the memory available is not good, i have to install a bunch of tools and patches as usual (would be good have that included on os) and i want to buy an ad2p device

I use to use WM5 and WM6 - it is my opinion only: wm6 is massaged version of WM5. If you need stability and andvance networking - I would use wm5; if you want to try "new" OS and you have a will of dealling with something "not working" - WM6. Said that, I see no big advantage of WM6 exept cosmetics for the average user (but if your life is latest and greates - go for it).
Now, bluetooth or Wifi were working fine for me in WM5 and WM6 (G4 unit). It is mostly related to the radio rom and drivers build in OS.
