Download the compressed file attached, unzip and run HimaUpgradeUt.exe whilst your XDA II is docked and ActiveSynced.
If you encounter a Country ID Error please continue to Step Two.
Else proceed to Step Three.

Download the compressed file attached, unzip and run HimaUpgradeUt.exe whilst your XDA II is docked and ActiveSynced to rectify the Country ID Error.
Return to Step One and retry the ROM upgrade.

Once you have your Xda II up and running on WM2003SE you may wish to continue with this procedure to enhance the ROM.
Download the attached Extended Extended ROM compressed file and extract the contents into the Storage folder of your Xda II.
Enhancements:
1. Graphite keyboard skin
2. IntelliDialer skin
3. IntelliPad skin
4. Latest Caller ID version 1.2 includes picture and ringtone assignment
5. Latest Socket WLAN Tools Mobile Edition v2 3.01.04.03.0038 142 G
Hard reset.
The WM2003SE upgrade for Asia O2 for Xda II is now complete.

That would be the application interface of the Socket WLAN Tools. The other one is the driver portion.

one question.
Looking at the config.txt , it has this few lines
CAB: \Storage\BL_keyboard_skin_01.cab
CAB: \Storage\BL_GraphiteLabel_kb_skin.cab
CAB: \Storage\IntelliDialer_Skin.cab
CAB: \Storage\IntelliPad_Skin.cab
CAB: \Storage\SD1_DRIVER.ARMV4.cab
CAB: \Storage\WTME.ARMV4.cab
CAB: \Storage\Caller_ID_WWE_RC10.CAB
with this command line, but the files is only located at the extended extended rom.
it puzzles me, when you say you need to copy and extract yourself, after flashing the rom.
therefore, why you still need this few lines.
nevertheless, i am already using WM2003SE. I am just trying to cook out a better Extended rom for myself.
for my own cook extended rom, i have removed..

I also have remove intelli applications, cause i hated during installation, keep prompting me, program incompatible.
But this time round, i going to try this program
My wishlist:
fix BT hide and seek
have Media player 10
latest WM2005

Please do not be puzzled anymore.
The Extended ROM has a size limitation. Those command lines are targetted to the Storage folder where those cabinet files are to be located thus the copy and extraction in Step Three.
Step three is necessary in order to load the Extended Extended ROM automaticallly for future hard resets. The contents of the storage folder does not get deleted upon hard reset only on ROM flashing. So I have exploited this.
Cook, remove and better your ROM. Do whatever makes you happy.
O2 Connect has a device check you can tweak the registry to make it work.
IntelliPad and IntelliDialer only works on Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition.
The WM2003SE upgrade in this thread has the Today BTHS Profile Fix included. You can have WMP10 by purchasing the latest PDAs and updating to the latest vendor released ROM. As for WM2005 you will have to wait for the upcoming PDA models. Once released in the market you can go out and buy them.
And please refrain from sticking your tongue out every now and then. It might stay that way.

Thanks Dr.Stein with your Upgrade files...previously my upgrade version is from ZeroXtreme(http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=13795) files which is good enough until i got your files. Probs with ZeroXtreme file are lost camera icons when at landscape mode and a disappearing BT icon. With your files probs are lost "photo contacts", hang after soft reset(after checking all the box at "permanent save")(how can i solve this two probs ?) and old phone dialer skin. But with no camera icons probs, maybe i'm gonna used this upgrade from yours...Thanks...MORE POWER!!!

Permanent Save
I have left out the Permanent Save files from the Start Up folder as they are generally unused and hog the RAM as there are much more better third party BackUp softwares around that can also save those details without wasting valuable windows processes.
If you insist on using Permanent Save then we will need members who have them in their Start Up folder to contribute. Please anyone?
As for the lost Photo Contacts I am a little vague on the details. Could you please care to explain further on this?
And for the phone skin which one do prefer?
My ROM is very basic compared to other power users here Bro.

Just last night installed your files...and i'm @ work today and feel sleepy because of that upgrading...my wife used it (Permanent Save), i am going to advise her to not to use it anymore.
And i did not see the "Ex Ex Rom" Files below... Last night i ddn't see the shortcut of "Photo Contacts" @ Programs and no time left to explore it.
just downloaded the patch(EX EX Rom files)

Hi DR,
I've just installed your new EXTROM and EXT EXTROM. The bt icon is now auto activated during a hard reset and remains stick forever. Just to check. Is the lacking of this file, BL_BT_Icon_service, the cause of my previous problem for I do not have it installed previously but not now?
As I'm in the process of installing programs some problems surfaces:-
a) the use of colored keyboard prevents CE Star's PenPower from activating. I can't switch to PenPower since the colored keyboard is always there. PenPower is use to input chinese characters. Can you look into this?
b) I get the new IntelliDialer but not the IntelliPad or vice versa. How to activate them? I kinda confused between the two. Could you post screenshots of the two please?
