since there are that many operatorid's compared to the language id..
i'm wondering if one of you guru's has successfully got the Qtek 2020 upgraded to WM2K3SE with the caller id Qtek and language id WWE
since i want to give it a try on my own 2020 i have been reading a lot of info on this board.
unfortunatly i'm loosing track on the various roms available..
it looks like that the 'sin' rom is currently for the 'english' the most stable.
however i'm missing a couple of things in his instruction which are being mentioned in the dcs- rom ..
therefor i'm a bit too scared to start updating my 2020,hoping there is someone who can has upgraded his 2020 with the roms and is willing to tell me which steps to take and which areas to be carefull about..

I need to upgrade to WM2003SE, but I really read a lot of topics in this forum about that, I heard some people say that this version is good and has no problems, and some else say that it is full of problems. This is my very first time to try upgrading my XDA, I heard that it may become just a piece of junk if anything fails.. so I am very worried about that guys.
So I need 2 things from you:
I need to know if this upgrade worth it or not, will my device die if anything fails? I need to be sure before going ahead.
If the upgrade worth it, could you give me the link where I can download the latest version of WM2003SE that does not have any problems?
Also I will be thankful if you have any tips or things to avoid during the upgrade process.
My device is:
QTEK 2020
R 0.10
G 1337.18
D 1.66 WWE
My carrier is Vodafone Egypt

The only differance is the O2 startup image instead of the imate image. Other than that the rom is very good, not very stable, but deffinetely worth it.
PS. If the phone regects the upgrade at the beginning, retry and it should upgrade.
So you mean that this link you posted, contains the WM2003SE that is compatible with my QTEK2020? and does it support my carrier? "Vodafone Egypt" as it is written that it only supports Australian Carriers: - Optus, Telstra & Vodafone..
Hello all, please do not shoot me down, I am new to the windows phone and need a bit of advice!
I am about to take delivery of a qtek 2020i. I am somewhat concerned however how I get the updates to the rom to this phone, as most of the posts that I have read seem to mention a dutch site? - I am in the UK.
if anyone is able to spare a moment to explain how this works I would really appriciate it - would I be right in understanding that this is a alpine?
If so, can I use the WWE extended ROMS from the website to install the latest versions, or have I completely got the wrong end of the stick here?

I need a single file that includes everything: the Radio,The OS and everything and It should includes the "HimaUpgradeUt_noID" coz I dont want to get the Country Error or ID error... Im not a Pro in dealing with problems concerning PDA's..I just want it as simple.

I've upgraded my qtek 2020 from wm2003 to a wm6 rom ( several from the forum: efsane; shekhar; tofclock), and in all of them i got the same problem:
The phone doesn't make call's, the phone button doesn't work, the phisical one (the green one) and the software phone program.
When i reset it, it appears "no gsm", and the rom version (if this helps)
Probably it's a very simple thing, but i can't figure it out, some help please.

Is there any possibility of you providing me a guide of how I can upgrade my Qtek 2020i to WM6..
I've been searching and reading but never seen anythig that has been soo well succieded in making this upgrade..

Hello I need help to change my Qtek A9100 - G4 WM5 WM6 to encounter some problems but ...
Well here we go:
1 - Looking for a WM6.0 ROM or 6.1 is the minimum that can be customized and if possible the original English or Portuguese (Port. has many bugs) and tested in a device similar to mine to avoid bugs. (Put the exact link to download please because they've walked over the hill in a wheelchair and behind everything I meet and vague)
2 - All the programs needed to upgrade (again ask the exact links to download because I can not stand to look anymore)
3 - A good installation tutorial since I have all 7 and joining could not ride one, everyone is different and confusing methods of installing the rom.
Now I'll post the settings of the machine is running without remembering that no problem just want to upgrade because of compatibility and even aesthetic:
