XDA I Screen into XDA II(Qtek 2020) - MDA, XDA, 1010 General

hey guys,
here's the thing
A friend of mine has a broken screem on his XDA II(Qtek 2020), I have a XDA I but my sound isn't working so good, I can get his broken XDA II for free, but is it possible to put my XDA I screen into the XDA II??
if so, what is the safest way to do this?
if not, where can I buy a cheap, broken XDA II for the screen or where can I buy a new XDA II screen...
or
where can I get my XDA I to whit my sound problem (I live in the Netherlands-->limburg)
plz help...

The screen will not fit, what is the nature of your sound problem on xda 1?

i really don't know
sometimes the sound is perfect, but when i make a call, it's not that good at all, and sometimes when I put my headphones in, i can't talk, just listen, and when this happens, the sound's death...
but is it possible to get some of the XDA II parts into the XDA I such as the processor or the memory'??

I dont think it is viable to transplant any of the innards of the xda2 to the xda1, sorry.

XDA Screen broken; whats the best option?

Ok, now I've done it...
I've broken the screenpannel.. XDA is still working but the touchscreen is 95% not working anymore. Lucky the XDA still is alive so I still can manage my info.
SO my major questions is; is't worth it to repair my XDA (money wise) or just buy an new one??
Or should I buy another PDA with phone funtion?

hey buddy thanks for yr help but its an american website..can u suggest me a one in uk/thanks..
I've bought a screen from them. They sent it pretty quickly (complete with instructions -with pics- on how to change it) Though like they say you shouldn't do it if you're faint-hearted.
I couldn't find anyone doing the same in the UK and I searched a looong time.
Good luck

[Q] Trackpad problem

Hey guys,
i have a problem with my trackpad. The trackpad isn't working since some weeks but thats not the problem. Sometimes the trackball does what it want. I don't touch it but it makes any random crap like adjusting the volume... Is there any way to disable the trackball or is there a possibility to repair it?
Tanks for replies

Sounds to me like your trackball has gone wonky if possible I strongly suggest to take it for repairs (provided that you still have warranty).

Have yet to see an app that fixes a hardware problem the trackball does turn faulty after few years of usage (especially if you mistreat it). It is possible to remove the trackball physically but that would take knowledge and confidence.
Yep, without trackball it would be near impossible to operate in CMW.
The best advice is to get a new phone and move on I guess unless you can find some store that can fix the problem for you.
Good luck!

Just thinking if you could find one of those silver metallic paint marker that would work good too, and the track button would be all silver

Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket Mic Problem

Hello everyone,
I have a rooted Skyrocket with Cyanogen mod 11 Kit Kat 4.4.2
Now I bought a flex cable for it, model # i727, rev 4.6 off of eBay.
Opened up my phone and replaced the older one, but the mic still doesn't work. When I make phone calls I have to put the phone on speaker in order for it to work, I don't know why that is the cause. I've spent money on this already and want to know if you guys have come across this problem at all. Thanks!

Hi, I know this is a really old question, and I've long since switched to my S5, but as for the microphone, I did have the same problem with my skyrocket. It turned out to be the fact that the tiny little hole for the microphone had dirt in it. I poked it with a pin, blasted some compressed air on it, good as new. My wife will actually uses the phone every day. ☺ best of luck
