i've heard that somewhere on the internet there is a """Widcomm""" driver available for Pocket PCs... Currently i guess we use 'Microsoft" Stack... Also i've heard the Widcomm is faster, more reliable, more sensible( it'll ask b4 obtaining a BEAM if u actually wanted it)
Basically, one can choose between widcomm and micrsoft once its installed onto ur PPC... now this info i get from a very reliable source...
Problem is... i have hunted the internet for this widcomm driver and have found nothing....
if anybody has an idea of where it could be located, pls atleast post the url...
also, if u think what i've learnt bout is HORSE-****, pls feel free to lemme know... atleast i'll stop hunting for it...

I failed to make it work. Maybe you have more luck.
Bluetooth stacks with switcher (Widcomm+MS) I found all of these on this forum. It is working with 2.06 rom like a charm with stereo headphones, headset, GPS, Keyboard, Mouse,....

how install it?
I placed all cab files in extrom and installed them. Soft reset and this is message:
bluetooth radio failed to turn on due to insufficient driver memory available. ..
it then asks me to normal reset but when I do same problem happens.
I now see two bluetooth icons in my task tray. One with red dot. thanks ahead for your help
Press start->programmas-> (new icon) Bluetooth stack!
and then choose broadcom stack only or the default microsoft stack only!

maybe a suggestion the error that widcomm shows cant we just disable the error message. hex editor and ..... getting my point?
becouse we dont need a error msg that tells that the BT isnt working we can see it

My BT earpiece is working well but not my BT GPS - when I tried to scan for a GPS(paired BT GPS), it has exactly the same message as above. Using MS BT Stack - any ideas anyone?

I think it still works as the picture shows the phone screen has power to it and the green LED is showing...
I want to know if there is a way to access the phone via usb so I can get some numbers and text messages of there as I run my business from it and if I can access the messages and numbers I will gain around £400 in work that had to be done!
Yes I know I should have backed up more often and know there are apps that would have saved texts but hindsight is a wonderful thing
So is there a way to get into the phone?
I have been looking and found new outer cases and new screens but it would cost a lot so that option is out and I have been looking for broken X10's to use for parts but again no luck. So it will have to be sorted via insurance but I know that means I will lose the data I need.

Nope as I hated the Google sync so used to manually sync using SE once a month but I need the unsaved texts and numbers in the call log.

you may struggle to get it into debugging mode if you cannot see the screen properly
Praying to god debugging mode is still on from root!
So I can litraly start the phone plug the usb in and this will allow me to access the phone without any screen/button presses?

You still need to put the phone into debug mode on the handset afaik ....
I've only used this via the APK and WIFI connection someone else here can maby guide you through to getting it into debug on the handset but if you cannot see anything then you may not have a chance at all

I think the problem with XDA facebook app is guaranteed on the server side of Facebook. They did recently change and upfated their site and I bet it may have something to do with it.
I noticed though that there have been display problems whenever I open Facebook Mobile in my Opera Browser on my HD2. I have to tap on the facebook link to send me home again and then it seems to load and work, but it does take longer to load onto the webpage.
I was thinking that since the XDA app is not updated for the new facebook that could be a factor but i can be wrong. I wanted to provide some logic.
I hope maybe someone else can shed any light.

m.facebook.com doesn't even load at all in my Opera browser.
touch.facebook.com doesn't even load correctly in my Opera browser.
These problems have only recently happened over the past few weeks. Thought it was down to the handset, so did a HARD RESET, and started from scratch... but that didn't seem to fix this problem.
I Have noticed that Sense Facebook Update stop work too.
No more Sense update for some time.
I believe that Facebook changes are not compatible with all platforms that use too interact with it.
This way, many will stop work. This are my thoughts...

I want to make video calls from my Galaxy SII, I don't want to use Skype or any other third party app.
With my iPhone 4 the option was listed under the Contact, just scroll down to the bottom and select FaceTime.

there is no built in app, apps like skype or oovoo are more universally used on computers and mobile devices
I find that Tango uses the least battery of all of them.
You can also get gtalk enabler from the market and uses Google talk over 3g or wifi. Skype seems to have great quality video while in use also.
You will need to use another app to use video call though as pointed out.

yeah, that gtalk enabler is definitely convenient. Gtalk works pretty damn good over 3G but obviously you can't use it with anyone who doesnt have android, unless they're on their PC

once you run that gtalk enabler app, reboot the phone. Once you do that, you can just click on the video camera icon to the right of the person's name in gtalk. The icon will appear ONLY if the user has video capabilities on whatever device they're using at the moment (be it their phone or PC). If the app really did unlock the video feature via 3G, you should not get an error when attempting to make a gtalk video call over 3G.

Dont you just click on the green video camera on the right hand side?
Not sure if anyone has tried this but is it possible to pair the G Watch with more than one phone? Probably not paired with two at the same time but be able to switch the active pairing between one phone and another phone?

The last update added the functionality. I switched between my OPO and my N5 without a reset often.
Anyone know where I can find the latest apk for BeeLink? It was pulled from the Play Store and I'm not sure if I have an older version of it but I can't seem to pair my watch to my Note 3 after its been paired to my OnePlus One. Thank you

This is version 1.0 can not remember if it was free or paid. If it's pulled from the play store guess it doesn't matter. If I'm wrong someone please tell me. I would never give a link to a paid app if I knew it was still in play store as this app is not.

I've tried unpairing vs985 which works and the vs 980 still doesn't connect. Any ideas? I've also turned off the Bluetooth from the vs985 and turned off the phone. Any ideas if a root will overcome this hurdle?

Sideload lg fm radio from apk mirror, it'll work juat fine with requirement of headset as an antenna.

You're right, I don't bother to run the app because I no longer listen to radio these days but always have fm radio app since my first android device, so it's kinda mandatory. Afaik, it will either work or crash, but I totally forgot that our lg v10 are carrier spesific so they prefer not to allow fm radio (hardware wise) since no mobile data will be used. The software won't save the day consequently. This issue can be found on other related thread. Sorry, mate

Its ok.. So hardware wise they disable it.. Disable means here the mother bkrd have antenna fm radio and theyvnot using it or the motherboard not have it all... And if can some one but fm antenna on motherboard??
