Hi to all im newbie here, i bought a second hand XDAII and when it turn to standby mode or back lights turn of it vibrates and its annoying, i felt bad in buying that stuff, any help tnks.

hey thats realy sucks, what you can try is to reinstall the phone(make a backup of your contacts/files before proceeding not a full backup!!!!(this can copy the wrong settings to))
You can try any rom you like but if you click the link shown below in my Signature you can try the 1 i build.

Sorry, newbie question, but before I have to use my MDA Vario 2 as a door stop, does anyone know if it is possible to get out of the Multi Coloured Screen ? our office had a power cut while I was updating from WM5 to WM6 and now it is stuck on the following screen:
HERM300
IPL-1.01
HERM300
SPL-1.40.Olipro
USB or Serial (Depending if I have the usb cable connected)
Obviously I cant connect to the phone as it is not booting and Active Sync is not connecting so I can upgrade.
Am I buggered like a cat in battersea dogs home ?
OK, false Alarm, was able to recover using a hard re-set + power on button and then load the original SPL loader ! phew ! RTFM me thinks !

Tell me about it I was, how can you say "*hitting bricks", but it's all working now. I feel so like a virgin, I firstly purchased a ROM off Ebay and then when that didn't work I had a search on the web and found this great site Now to find out more about custom apps !

I spoke way too soon, Everything was perfect and then half a hour ago I changed a setting in the advance configuration section about ext ROM, took a telephone call and then re-started the phone..................now it just hangs at the WM6 splash screen !

actually my streak just slipped off from my hands at that time it was switched off.
when i tried to switch it on again the dell logo come, after that the o2 wall paper appears thats it.
it's stuck over their, after every 10,15 seconds the screen gets blank for a second and the o2 wall paper appears again

First put the phone into fastboot mode anc check the screen calibration second put it in recovery mode and do factory reset

I have a problem on my screen the galaxy ace, sometimes it flashes or turns off and back on my use. And just about when I unlock the phone, must be some problem with the rom? I changed the rom and still has what procedure should I do? I think it is ace physical problem. And when a game off the game continues even with the screen turned off.

Sounds like hardware problem. Restore it back to stock and take it in for Tech support.

im using superrom v3.1+superatmos 3.3..when i connect earphone and lock the screen off,the phone was hang and not show up and the music just like lag..the screen goes black and i need reinsert the battery to reboot..any ideas??

Hi there everyone, i have a little problem with my N9500, couple weeks ago my screen stop working, the phone works, because the 2 buttons get iluminated and i can hear the phone working but i cant see anything, one time i switch the phone and it worked but only for few minuts and again the screen become black and the phone works but i cant see anything.
I have reinstalled the firmware but no chance, i cant see anything but the phone works, please can someone give me a bit of help, my english is not very good, so please dont use strange words heheh
