Thanks for the GREAT web site.
One Friday I tried and sucessfully upgraded my iMate 2020 to:
ROM: 1.50f.b1WWE
ROM Date: 13/05/05
Radio Version: 1.14.00
Protocol Version: 1337.24
I am not sure if this is the latest and GREATEST verison ROM. I think the radio rom mighty not be latest? So ...
I have been reading and searching on the forum and found on the ftp TWO folders; Win2k5 and Himalay2005.
The ROM nk.nbf in the Win2k5 folder display 1.50f in ER2003Edit
The ROM nk.nbf in the Himalaya folder displays 1.50b in ER2003Edit
This B version was the one I loaded Friday .. work fine .. except the known problems.
I just re-loaded version F (assuming it is the latest) and found that it only display the following memory allocatin:
Storage: Total: 14.54MB In Use: 2.41MB Free: 12.14MB
Program: Total: 24.35MB In Use: 13.86MB Free: 10.66MB
Where as the OLD version give me the fill 128MB
What did I do wrong ... please can someone clearify the correct ROM for iMate 2020 XDA2,etc

yes you can. See this post how to do it. In pg 26 you'll find the windows 2003 SE you need. It's about 22 mb. and ext rom.

The files included the Instruction...
Don't bother anymore with radio because i change diff radio rom version (1.08/1.17/1.18 Radio rom ver) to have rec/cam button solution but no avail because its a bootloader compatibilty(its also a very big risk to replaced the bootloader version...you've got a totally dead xdall if the bootloader upgrade/downgrade failed).

I'm stuck a bit with the precaution to save HTC's original ROM and all stuff that is on the phone.
Is there any way how I can make a image of the whole phone to "flash it back" if WM6 doesnt fits my needs? Or can't the actual state (installed apps, saved messages, etc) not be copied to a image?
getdevicedata.exe tells me this:

Ah? And where? I used the built in search (without any luck) and Google with a bit more luck to find:

But that didn't told me what to do really... I want to make my own Image of the whole phone, not just copy the files out of the ActiveSync explorer-folder.
Google the words "htc rom dump" - that might help. It will give you a starting point anyway with lots of hits on this site.
