I haven't even been able to find a 2006 version for destinator. Where did you get that?
The installation process will run more fine on WM5 if you add
new entry to the [Platforms] section of Default.ini file
...
[Platforms]
P2577V351=ARM
...
Thats illinimates the OS recognition problem during installation and performs copying of all relevant files to your XDA but still wrong DLL registration process of DestDLL.dll
Use the regsvr_arm tool to register the dll.
Works fine with Destinator 2005 on WM5 (1.60a) version.
Tnx to buzz! This is most stable and useful version for XDAII that ever be released by anyone!

Hi kliushkin,
Destinator 3
I'm using 1.60b.96WWE
The Destinator stop on start run:
I’m getting this report error:
A problem has occurred with gwes.exe.
Thanks
Dsetinator 3
To all
Finally I got the destinator 3.075 running.
Now I have a com port problem, can somebody explain in details how we change the Destinator.ini com port?
Wich folder in the PPC is the Destinator.ini located, and what is the file size?
I guess we can used a HEX editor?
What line we edit the COM port changes?
Thanks,

first you need to find the installation file
then only you can do that
...or you have to dig the CHS registry.
There you can find, what exactly is the exe named, which dlls it needs, what are the file registrations for it and so on...
I did a bit, and it looks that it's so much work, that it just doesn't make sense...
buzz
yes i know that we have to find the installation files
i mean can you show me step by step to instal it on our 2.06 ROM, or you know what files to copy????
I found that WMP10 is build in/come with CHS version
so ... is abit hard to find the whole installation files out

if you are looking for a very stable ROM, IMHO...i think SIN's V.2 MERGED ROM is the most stable and bluetooth support is good.
the problem is...HE made it FOR AUSTRALIAN USERS only...no problem..just download his setup files.
then backup your operator config files example smartall???.cab and globeall??/.cab, you can find it if you view your AUTOCONFIG.TXT and look under smart or globe.
then FLASH your XDA using SIN's V.2, after flashing proceed normally...dont load an operator setting when asked to..instead open your extrom and replace the files there with SMART and GLOBES cab files also your edited AUTOCONFIG.txt...then run AUTOCONFIG...tada! u have SIN's MERGED v.2 on your XDA 2 for smart or globe.
Hi chameleon,
Im planning to buy an xda2. One of my main concern is the os. I was wondering what/where are the tools for upgrading the rom. Is this(SIN's V.2 Merged ROM) a windows 2003 se rom? 8).
Thanks,
Ramsis
Hi Ramsis,
Do not buy XDA II. Buy the latest version XDA IIi. Make sure you got the 1.3 megaPixel cam. OS is already win 2003 SE.

Sin's files is superb...i cooked my own rom merged mostly from sin, drstein and zeroxtreme which i called it a "perfect philippine version wm2003se". used it a month now with no problem encountered.3rd party programs are mostly compatible. I autoconfig it for the Smart,Globe and Digi(Sun???) user only. I Have one very big problem on how to upload it and prompt me "....posted not specified". I want to share it to everybody. Any idea on how to upload using our ftp.
you can pm zeroextreme, i'm sure he knows how.
RAMSIS,
YES, BUY the XDA IIi or the XDA II MINI..both have superior cameras and are already preloaded with WM 2003 SE, howver, if you can get a cheap deal on an XDA II, then the only hardware you need is a computer to flash your device...all softwares are available here for download.
XDA2JOJO,
I think files cannot be uploaded if its in nbf or exe format...please ZIP your files using WINRAR or WINZIP then upload as an ATTACHMENT in your POST. Hope it helps.

I'm useing an XDA IIi with wm2003 se, and active sync 4. the problem is that whenever i try and use the upgrade tool it fails for some reason. i'm gunna try again and take a screenshot so i can show you guys.
hi blackhat,
I downloaded the zip. It contained three *.rar files. I unpacked those as well but the part2.rar file wants to overwrite the first on. What to do?
Well, then I ran HimaUpgradeUT.exe. It starts but drops my activesync connection and then thells me there is a connection problem. How's that, do I have to install AS 4.0 first?
Hi, following the thread above, I am unable to locate the relevent rom on the o2 server, it is not in the upload directory, or the himalaya directory....
Anyone know where i can get hold of it?
thanks
You can take one version that available and then edited for your purpose. Use ER2003Edit, it is the easiest way to edit. I hope it can solve your problem
pretty sure that o2 never released a 2003SE for himalaya

I try the other file older version numbers the same...
Regards,
Deliyurek007
This is due to a parameter in the .cab file.
I ran into similar issues with the cab installer for intellisync with a Samsung SGH-i200 (Also 6.1), and found the solution here in the forum:
"YES!!! i found the solution!
I have only tried it on the MobiPocket reader...
I downloaded the mobipocket cab file
i then opened the cab and extracted the _setup.xml file
there i found the 4'th line "<parm name="ProcessorType" value="2577" />"
i figured, maybe my mobile was running a new kind of ARM processor, i then deleted that line, replacing it with the following 2 lines:
<parm name="OSVersionMin" value="4.2" />
<parm name="OSVersionMax" value="6.99" />
i then extracted the last 3 files and put them beside the _setup.xml file (with the 2 new lines)
i then recompiled all 4 files to a cab, using Windows XP's nuild in "makecab, running from the command, and tranfered the newly made cab...
And guess what... it actually worked!!!!
"
And you also probably need another smartphone client btw.
notice after posting my last post that you are trying to install a WM6.1 PROFESSIONAL....Please note that Rose is a WM 6.1 Standard.
You need the Smartphone version, NOT the touch screen version.
Then try the above post.....
I found the BlackBerry connect software for HTC S740 and is installed and working.
Thanks a lot for all your information
Regards,
deliyurek007

All the versions of the BB Connect can be found there: http://sems.org/entry.asp?entry_id=276
I tried also almost all of the versions without success. If somebody have any idea how to get connected (get the PIN and IP), please share this on the forum.

Hey Svedis. Thanks for the info. How about sharing your cab?
You got the link with downloads for the BB Connect, for WM6 Prof and WM5 Standard, exactly these which are for smartphone.
Software works on the S740, but unfortunately it doesn't connect with the servers.

I do not have the BB client since I am (sorry to say ) not using Blackberry.
I just recognised the issue with installing some cabs on the WinMo 6
