just wondering if there are any products that allow you to link a usb device straight to your xda?
for example, linking a digital camera to the xda to transfer pictures, or linking a mp3 player to swap music?
i havent been able to find anything but just wondered if anyone knows of anything?!

Hi everyone,
Is it possible to use TV-out on HTC Hero?
In the following review they believe that it is capable of doing so.
http://www.tracyandmatt.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1983
Is there an App to enable TV-out?
P.S: Yes i have used the search engine...couldnt find anything
Maybe the TV has a usb reader in and is using the Hero as just another SD card?
Hmmm....I dont think so.
The review states "One thing we also noticed while at the event is that they had a number of demo handsets plugged in to large screens so that you could see the device being demo'd on the large screen. "
So there must be some kind of APP in the demo units that enabled TV-out...
Other thoughts?

Thx for the link but i already know that program. The thing is that I want to plug in my phone to any video device and not my computer. But again great app indeed.
I understand the "Connected Media" app lets you play video from your phone to DLNA-compatible devices. I also learned that the Xbox 360 should be DLAN compatible.
I spent some time fiddling with it but I couldn't get Connected Media to show my Xbox -or- get my phone to show up on the xbox. I'm a little unclear on how this is supposed to work. Has anyone done this? Would you mind giving me a step by step? Is there something I need to enable on the xbox end or something else I may have missed?
Thanks
Use the media share app, not connectededoa app. I use it on my xbox everyday. Both phone and xbox.must be connected to same network. On media share app, check the share button then select which folders from your SD card to share on your xbox. It will work, if not, must be some firewall issues on your home network.

Just take your EVO3D, plug it up through usb, select disk drive from the notification bar then you could listen to music & watch videos without any app.
My ''xDU4L C0R3 SH00T3Rx'' shot you down in 3D!
Thank you both for your suggestions - the media share app works great and I'll try out the USB share thing.
One thing, the media share app doesn't show all the directories (such as DCIM) as available to share. Anyone else have this issue?

Hi,
My eve 3d can detect my TV just fine but i can't seem to get it to find the xbox360. Is there anything that i need to do on the 360 to enable DLNA besides being on the same wifi? The media share app you're talking about is IMS correct?
Thank you
I have the same issue. My phone finds my Sony Bravia TV and can send media to it, but does not find my PS3. I used the media server. Worked wonderfully. Although I'm sure with some quick searching I could find the answer. Just wanted to say I experience the same thing.

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has found a decent music player that can read files by their tags on the prime. The reason for asking is, this feature would allow one to plug their ipod in, mount it, and then have access to all the songs on there.
When most places review music apps, they don't include this. Has anyone tried it, or can they recommend an app they think will work?
Its like dejavu, I swear I just read this.

Yea, I accidentally created a dupe. Browser went a bit funny. It's been reported though.
hi folks
as the title says im after screen mirroring my s3 to my laptop it is equipped with dlna already or maybe wifi direct if its possible! according to what i read on the net it is possible to mirror s3's screen to a pc using dlna but i have no luck yet! when i scan with allshare app it does see my laptop i registered it with allshare play it sees it as an active online pc but refuses to stream music, pictures or video let alone screen mirroring!. do you think i should download a dlna server app? if so which is the best one? coz i have downloaded one called tvtrivia or something but it didnt help..
im from UK so i have the international version of s3 with original stock samsung rom on.
i have gone thru the forums but i didnt not come cross any thread about this apart from one that is about allshare cast which involves an extra hardware!
im very surprised though as i thought many people would be interested in screen mirroring!
what do you guys think about screen mirroring? anyone have made any research about this or even tried? what is your experience?
bump, also interested in this
yep - and me!
Airdroid can do basic screen mirroring but it runs at a low fps rate of ~1fps. MirrorOP is also the same I presume. I wish the was a solution for this using wifi, widi or even usb connection. That way I can easily play games with my phone as a remote or as a wheel substitute in teaching games lol.

I use MirrorOp and works well. The frame rate is high and videos work well through it. The sender app costs $9.99 (~£6.43) for unlimited use.
Hey everyone.
I am looking for an app that lets me see my pc screen, just like a monitor would. i know there are some other options like splash screen etc but they are all pretty laggy because they all use internet and they video stream my pc so quality is bad too. while quality is secondary for me lag is deffinetly not so even the program needs me to connect my phone and just works like a monitor without input that would be just fine. isnt there a way to do it? i've heard people do it with their tv i couldnt find anything useful despite searcing for two days.
if you could show me an app that lets me do this with good quality like my phone screen have i would be so happy and pay for the application.
sorry if i am using the wrong section of the forum. thanks in advance
try with iDisplay. I dont have a play store link but just search it. You will then be able to use your phone as pc monitor. You can connect to pc via intetnet or through usb cable
