You can't get the Gingerbread version at this moment. Be patient now because there are also many users in Malaysia who are using Motorola Atrix (non-4G) too.
Those threads that posting the latest Gingerbread SBF file(s) does not suit our version in Malaysia. You might not be able to flash "these" firmware into your Atrix too. Correct me if I am wrong...
If your Atrix is still not rooted then keep it as it is (if you want to have the OTA update later BUT YOU REALLY NEED A LOT OF PATIENT).
If you don't care about the Gingerbread update then you may proceed with the rooting. You may refer to this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=578771&d=1303829207

As long as your version is: Version .4.3.10.MB860.AsiaRetail.en.03 (this is Malaysia version and it is not 4G)

My tab is currently running JB .18 firmware and I 'd like to do the nvflash procedure soon.
From what I've understood, my tab need to be on the old 9.4.2.28 ICS firmware to do it.
My question is : how to downgrade form JB to the .28 ics ?
I've tried the manual installation by putting the .zip file on the root of the sdcard but no succes, the instalation abort itself after 2 minutes.
Also my tab isn't unlocked yet but I will surely do it soon (I don't think it is an explanation of this probleme neither).

theres's no way. you had to do it before jellybean. I'm on the same boat. Move on to the next objective and always read the foruns before acquiring a new device or upgrading it!

Do you think there is anyway to downgrade ? I've read somewhere that it was possible by sending it to RMA ... Is there anyway to restore the tab to its purchase state (it was 3.2) ?
