Hi folks,
Greetings from Italy.
First of all congratulations for this web site and thanks to all people who share their info's with others.
Problem: I use a Qtek 2020 with his original latest ROM 1.75.04ITA, radio 1.14.00, with a Logitech BT headset . This configuration works fine, and I can make/receive phone calls without any problem. I also have installed TT5 with a BT GPS Leadtek device and it works fine, BUT I can't hear TT5 vocal instructions in my BT headset! The voice from TT5 is only available on Qtek speaker.
If I receive a phone call during TT5 usage, the phone call is correctly diversed on my BT headset, on TT5 screen appears an icon showing 'Vocal instructions suspended' (but the graphic instructions are ok) and at the end of phone call the vocal instructions start again.
Note that using wired headset all works perfectly.
How can I hear these vocal instructions into my BT headset?
I know using Nokia 7710 with identical configuration it works fine, why using Qtek isn't?
Pls help me! It's is very important, because I'm an ambluance driver, and this function should be VERY useful for us in our job.
I'm availabe to all modifications: i.e. change ROM, change BT stack (but I'm not able..need instructions..), change WinMobile version... whatever you want if it can be the solution!
The only thing I don't want is to buy another device or a BT adapter.
Thanks,
Valerio
All,
Does anyone know if the above combination work ok?
Thanks
M
SE HBH-610a ok
I can confirm, such combination works fine:
1. call pickup
2. last number redial
3. disconnect
4. voice dialling
The last feature works fine on headset side, but the time required to open Voice Dialling on TyTN makes the voice dialling hard to use when not looking at the PDA which is pity, but once application opens, all works fine.
Kotek
I upgraded from the O2 XDA mini to the Orange M3100 and use the same Sony headset and can't get the voice tags to repeat in the headset after they have been recognised. It worked fine with the O2 phone, you pressed the headset power switch briefly, said the name and the phone played the match back to the headset. This new phone simply shows the name on the screen and repeats through the phone speaker. Tried to pair it again but still the same, anyone had this and found a fix?
As an update I was using the voice dial function the other day sat in the car and could hear the recorded name in the headset but it's reall quiet. The previous HTC phone was a lot louder so is there anyway to increase the volume of the spoken voice tag in the headset, I have the headset volume up full but still it's too low to hear properly.
I've seen some other posts on getting stereo headsets working with this Orange device. Can anyone help me find a way of getting the phone to increase the volume of the repeated voice tag in my bluetooth headset please?
Well there are only 263 posts re. Bluetooth and headset problems in this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=285419
If you can't find any answers there, there are about another 10 threads about headset and bluetooth problems, about 15 threads on Voice Command problems and you combine the two and you have a nightmare
... almost makes you want to use a wired headset and hand dial.
Trust me, I thought this would be easy.........
The previous HTC device I had (Wizard with O2) worked fine, press headset button, speak, phone confirms back and then dials. This one has such a low volume that you can't hear what it says. I read through a load of the posts but they all seem to be trying to solve problems I don't have, for me the headset and phone works, the TomTom GPS v6 also works, the TCP video software is almost there and all of this without having to hack any programes.
I tried it again today and before when I thought it was very quiet it was in fact the speaker on the phone I was hearing on the seat next to me, the headset does not reply the voice tag.
Surely others must be using BT headsets with this phone and use the voice dial tags when driving etc?

I don't have these issues so don't know the exact thread but I have read that many ppl are having the same problems as you. I think they have solved all but incomming notifications - so go looking and you should find.
Hi,
I think this question should be directed to our chiefs - hang.tuah, JohanDC, panosha.
I recooked Polish version based on 1.90 WWE ROM and have a only one problem - pairing of TP and BT headset is OK, but there is no possibility to dial from BT headset. When I'm pushing a button on BT headset, BT icon on TP is blinking once and nothing is changing - normally Voice Speed Dial should appear and I could dial .
I saw that hang.tuah mentioned in his history release that he solve this problem so I assume that it is a solution for that.
Please help me, because it's very frustrating to have such a small problem and con't solve
Has anyone used a Lubix LC1 bluetooth headset with the Touch HD? I am planning to buy one for myself.
By the way, few days back I tried an iTech bluetooth headset (Clip Radio) with my Touch HD - it worked great with excellent sound!
People looking for a cheap all round bluetooth stereo headset with nice functionality may also opt for the iTech Clip D-Radio bluetooth headset. Link here.
Have a gr8 day!
I dont know about that headset, but Nokia BH-503 works great--- if that works then anything should!!!
BTW-- if a headset has a easy to press answer call button - then theres a problem cuz if you accidently press it two times - then you will call the last person you've called or has called you.... and if a headset has a play/pause, forward/backward buttons for media - then Blackstone will turn on everytime you press one of these buttons!!!
oh and the call answer button works even when the phone is locked!!!
