Hi there guys, long story short, I need to downgrade my Qtek 2020 (XDA 2 Himalaya) to win2003SE asap. I did put an effort to search in here and over at Buzz's place. However, I cant find a complete step by step guide to downgrade Within the zip file for upgrading to wm5 there is a complete guide but not for downgrading.
So, can anyone help me out about this? Would be highly appreciative.
I did find a thread at Buzz's but there were no complete instructions, so please dont just refer to that one, but rather just post a 10step (or however many steps there are) that I need to do.

Hello everybody,
I recently posted a topic about the need of a step by step guide in relation to upgrades of XDA's or other subjects but, they had to be in an understandable, easy to follow English for the less gifted amongst us. With this I mean the non pure computer language specialists.
Well, with thanks to PDAMobiz.com I found a very useful guide made by Caustic. I used it and it worked perfect to change from a German 1.72GER to the 1.72.81WWE with Blackberry. It can also be used to upgrade to WM2003SE as stated in this guide.
It is a fairly simple procedure, you only have to replace one file with another one as described. You will need WinRar or some program of this nature.
Again, I want to warn all users that it worked perfectly for me but using this information is of course, at your own risk.

Hey everybody,
for some reasons I got big problems with reimporting my old contacts to WM6. So, now I need to downgrade my Trion to WM5 in order to export them in some other way.
But it seems there is no wm5-cab available on the net anymore. My only hope: Does anybody still got a wm5-cab floating around which he could upload for me?

OK, so without getting into details and insults, there are a couple things about your post that lead me to believe that you lack some of the basic knowledge / experience you will need to do this.
SO, see THIS LINK for your WM5 ROMs (note that they will not be cab files).
AND, I strongly suggest you see THIS LINK for downgrade flashing instructions.

don't worry about insulting me, because you're absolutely right: I do have some basic knowledge about PPCs, but I totally lack the experience of any downgrading or stuff like that.
