Use radio scheduler to turn off radio when not used and turn on again when used and Xpuscalar to adjust cpu clock speed... :wink: :wink:

I would say try out the latest one by Jiggs AKU 0.7.
Also look for tips around the forum to increase bat life , uninstall XSCALAR if installed , Switch Off Incoming Beams or Bluetooth
If every thing seems to fail , i would suggest you to invest in a new battery
How long does your battery last?
I pluged my phone into the charger to charge and took it out only this morning.
After about 10+ hrs, my battery has only 33% left!!
I know abt the problems with atom life's battery but it seems to drain too much power...
I'm using Medkid's PDAVIET Rom and installed only HTC Home plug in and HHC.
Sorry 4got to mention.
There was minimal usage and did not use phone. Less than 5 minutes ( juz switch on to see time etc).
check your cpu profile though,
also if u set to best for performance the battery drain real fast, plus any wi-fi and bluetooth will just kill it quick.
i think mine last longer than ya, last time i remember i went away for a night my battery still 40% the next morning.
but yep despite the powerful atom life, its baterry sux. hope other manufacturer could provide the same size battery with better power management.
Woah 60% drain for a whole day is way better den mine...
I got the power consumption think and the drain is about 220mA or so w/o doing anything

if you use xcpuscalar that could be reason... although you underclock your cpu, it has much bigger battery consumption so don't use it!
Don't keep your screen brightness on a high level.
I am running the OEM W6 ROM with the HTC Home Plug and my battery life is fine, and I am using 3G about 95% of the day.
Sometimes I need to charge it at night, sometimes I don't.
Original (supplied) battery can last for 18 to 20 hrs with less usage, meaning only call and sms. Have bought extended battery that can last for 2 days. Oh ya, my atom life have htc plugin and hhc, plus spb shell, pointui and touchcommander installed. I used clean WM6, download from O2 site, as I am uncomfortable with cooked rom.

but if i uses stock rom SE my battery can life until 24hours or more....

i have the same problem my battery shows 10% after about 4-5 hours until it`s charged for 100%
Me too have the same problem!! Battery Life sucks!!
To maintain battery for a whole day i have to keep my wifi off. Phone in 2g mode. extreme low brightness. Data packets off.
Internet i.e. Data packets consume most of the battery i suppose!!
I think I have an answers :
turn off this :
-data access must be disable
-2G networks
-sync off
add this module :
undervolt modules and smartass modules...
undervolt modules provide undervoltage
smartass manipulated cpu frequency...
I used all that and my phone can lived 2days more..
So guys, what are your experiences with different rom's and kernels considering battery life? Which one broke the record?

I usually keep 3G on, gps and wifi off, and my cpu speeds set to 480 max, 245 min. brightness slightly turned up, no animations. Lasts pretty much the entire day with casual texting, phone calls and browsing facepunch
There is no term like "BEST" battery saver in custom ROM department. My configuration is in my signature. Gives me good battery backup. However, I am missing the stability of stock. But, I also hate the fact that S2E doesn't work on stock.
Battery depends on how much usage you give your phone. I follow what I posted on my signature and I get good battery life on any rom I use. As much "optimized" battery life might be on a rom or kernel, it won't matter. 1350mAh will only last as much as you use it.
What automated solutions are there to test my phone's battery life?
How does AnTuTu Tester for battery life work? Do I have to manually close every program and set various settings like WiFi and GPS or does the program do it?
I want to compare the battery life of two batteries accurately.
