I have the some queries bout installing the Windows 2003SE or 5.0.
It works fine with my XDA II, but now i'm using XDA IIs (with WiFi) and i can't get into white screen (serial or usb mode) even after several attempt of Power + Reset + D-Pad press.
Is it the same way as for both model to press the same buttons?
No.. its not the same.. they call it the bootloader mode.. for the blueangel device you Press Power + record (above the volume slider) + softreset at the same time.

The above statement is not clear to me. Can u pls explain the combination. I tried pressing volume down+back+power and also both vol up and down together+back+power. In both cases, it didnt boot into android recovery. It just boots normally.

Hello @Vokko,
I put out the battery and waited about 2 days until it was empty but unfortunately it was not successful.
Iam still looking for a solution.
Have you tried holding the volume down button and the power button (keep both pressed, don't let power button go)?

If I connect with PC and hold volume down + power button I see "APX" in other devices.
Sorry, I forgot your model uses volume up + power button to access recovery. Unplug from computer, turn off then hold volume up and power button together (don't just press power briefly but keep it and volume buttons held down) to see if it enters recovery.
Hi all, yesterday after rooting and flashing TWRP I decided to put the Pixel experience ROM onto my phone.
Now my volume up, volume down, home button& power button don't work.
I used a keylogging app and found that all the keys are showing up as pressed & when checking the keymapping in General.kl all the scancodes are assigned to the correct keys.
I tried using a button remapper to assign the buttons to themselves but when using that; the buttons showed up as 'Unknown'
I've been using my battery case to wake the screen & the multitasking to go home, but this is a real nuisance!
I am also able to power my phone off by holding the power and volume down, I've been using this to wake the screen (restart phone) but the power button doesn't work for waking the screen
I tried turning on my phone (Galaxy S20FE) by plugging it into my PC with a USB cable & holding down volume up & down buttons. The phone only had volume buttons & a power button, so now that the power button has fallen out, I only have the volume buttons https://19216811.cam/ https://1921681001.id/ .
Anyways, after I tried this, I get a warning, "A custom OS can cause critical problems in phone and installed applications. If you want to download a custom OS, press the volume up key. Otherwise, press the volume down key to cancel. Volume up: Continue ; Volume down: Cancel (reset phone) ; Side key: Show barcode."
If there's an option to reset phone, why isn't there an option just to restart? When I click volume up, it gets stuck on a downloading screen. It says I can cancel & restart the phone by holding down the power button & volume down, which obviously isn't something I can do. I got out of the downloading screen by unplugging from PC & waiting a while.
What are my options?
Welcome to XDA.
Repair or replace the assembly. Part of the core functionality of the phone... you need it.
If the battery is older then 1 or 2 years replace as well. Make sure to replace the back cover seal to preserve waterproofing.
Have a good repair shop do this if you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself.

1. Use a blunt pin or something like that to press the power button area.
2. The options you see by holding down the volume buttons whilst connected to the PC is expected behaviour. You can press Volume Down button on that screen to cancel the warning and restart the phone.
'Reset' here means restart. It really is a wrong term to use and is confusing. Reset means to undo user changes and restore something to default state.
XDA should issue a clarification on this term instead of 'brick', whose usage has been far less confusing and fairly clear.
