First of all brand has service issues in regular product. They will go bonkers with a rooted device.
@Person_on_knees if u r in Bangalore please visit the Jayanagar service station, hopefully they will do it

Months ago Nokia released their x2 with good hardware but the problem was on its bad rom
Many people use it and hope any developer can only move a good rom such lollipop or kitkat on it I know it is not that simple
But please help.

I've recently got this phone as a dummy phone for research purposes only, & for the love of God I can not figure out a way to easy root the phone without it giving me some error. So I come here to XDA Devs to seek some help. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
