Is 4.00.01 not the 'current' release of windows mobile 2003 ??
I thought that was the only one available to download?

nope theres a 4.00.05 that 02 has but none of us can get our hands on it yet

I have the image on a SD card with I use to enter Wallaby bootloader and flash the ROM, but how to I get that image off the SD card onto a file I can FTP up so you guys can get it????

you can get an usb adaptor which read sdflash like they were disks
you can get readers which read all the flash formats at once even
they are pretty cheap

I have successfully unlocked my SPV M1000 to use an 02 SIM.
I have also upgraded the ROM version to 2003SE.
I would like all the original 02 logos and stuff on my phone, and will be using a 02 Contract SIM.
Does anyone have the extended rom for this (UK)

Just wondering, has anyone been through all the various branded hermes ext roms? I know there's a page in the wiki listing the file name content of each but identifying what each does is a bit difficult. I had a bit of a poke with wince cab manager but it's a lengthy process.
Does anyone know if say the dopod ext rom has goodies/apps/patches the imate doesn't?

Hi guys, I want to flash my device with Black Dymond, and I'm now looking at the files from my extrom which i need to install after flashing. I found which files are in my extrom (T-Mobile MDA Vario II Dutch Ext Rom) but I can't find what .cab files do what. Can anybody help me with this?

Dont use the cabs from the ext rom, write down your settings and add them manually. Almost everything has a newer version in Black Dymond anyway.
