Hi all,
Before attempting to upgrade my Vario II I'd like to be sure that I can return to the original ROM (for warranty purposes). Does anyone have a download location for an installable version of the original shipping UK ROM (1.21.110.3 dated 06/19/06)?
Thanks
Anyone know anything about the version sold in Korea? It's called a T*Omnia II and comes in two versions, sch-M710 and sch-M715, which just have different amounts of memory as far as I can tell. They are wcdma, but are not identical to the verizon versions. The obvious differences are they have a UIM card (I guess), and they support DMB (digital TV reception). I don't know what if anything else is different.
Any guess if it's possible to flash the same OS part of the rom as the other versions can use? I'm kind of guessing this could mess up some hardware support, at least the DMB stuff. I could live with losing DMB. I'd want it to still work in Korea though, mostly just interested in getting it to work in English.
Only thing I know, samsung finally made a working MainMenu.

Hey Rfx64,
there is a phone.bin part that you can find it on internet. i found it on chinese web page which is i don't remember what it named. sorry.
Hi bilguunbayr,
thank you for feedback.
I am looking for this phone.bin file for longer time but I am still unsucessful.
The only file I found was ROM .nb0 file, version DB22, SCH-M715 but .bin file no chance. From forum base knowledge I found it can be flashed by OCTANS. Flash files for european OMNIA II are available on many sites but very few for this korean T-OMNIA II version.
If I understood it correctly SIM-LOCK could be removed by flashing phone.bin part of the ROM. Now I have PDA and CSC version DH25, phone DG22 (latest).
Dear bilguunbayr, I would be very thankful if you could help me to find this phone.bin file as I cannot. I can reward you with paypal donation if I am sucessful to unlock with your file/help.
EDIT: I already found phone.bin part for M715, currently solving how to flash with octans according flashguide...

Hi! i bought Galaxy s2 in Sweden Tele2. Can somebody tell me, which is the right fimware with right CSC for Sweden, beause i update with this firmware i9100XXKH3 and i change CSC. And wright now i don't know how to return everything back to original firmware.
You'll need to find the stock ROM for S II with WWE in the name (World Wide English). It'll have all the languages including swedish.
Check the S II developer section here.
I live in The Bahamas, and our carrier (The Bahamas Telecommunications Company) recently went 4G and are selling the Galaxy S II (I9100) from Samsung Latin America.
The firmware that came with it was labled, "UHKI1", but I have no idea if it's from Argentina or Brazil and I'd like to go back to the default country that it came from since Samsung's now releasing ICS for the S II.
Any idea how to tell what was there?
Not familiar wth the UH handle, but if you search intratech's carrier branded firmware thread ( I think its in Original Development) you might find more help there.

While that certainly did help, it's now added a new factor into the mix, haha.
According to that thread, the phone belongs to the Dominican Republic.
So according to the initial firmware thread:
UHKI1
Firmware info
PDA:UHKI1
PHONE: UHKI1
Date: 05/09/2011
Android 2.3.4
ZTO (Brazil) and ARO (Argentina) have it.
According to the second thread:
Dominican Republic (DOR)
UHKI2:
Firmware info: PDA:UHKI2| PHONE: UHKI1| CSCORKI1
This is getting awkward now...
original Firmware site
I am new to this site...
Anybody wants the original firmware for the particular region/country, find the mobile phone model on the box e.g. GT-I9100LKAINU, then go to the page
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_S_II_Series
and search for Product Code / HIDSWVER (pda/csc/phone/kernel) List table...
you will find the required/original details and then go to:-
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278
and download the required package. if u r getting trouble with downloading through Megaupload then you can visit :-
http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/
and search for firmware you need....
By doing this you can get the original firmware, detected by Kies and you can upgrade it to the latest version also.
I was irritated in finding the original one for myself. I downloaded several firmware . I was not able to detect it in KIES. But finally i went through the steps i explained and it worked for me.

That'd be a nice way of doing it if UHKI1 was on that wiki listing, however it's not. The listing that it actually is on (your second link which was the first place I went) doesn't make it any easier on figuring it out though.
Just requiring a little help. (Page went about 5 pages back)

Hi,
An ex-owner of HTC devices here. Can't find any related info:
Is it possible to flash a stock European ROM (G925F) on my Hong Kong G9250? If root is needed, I will root, of course.
Reason is some stuff is missing from this ROM like contact sort by last name, etc. etc...
Thank you in advance.
Guys, is this true that nobody has an answer?
