I can suspect that you have downloaded ROM file from romkitchen.de.
The problem is simple to solve : kitchen interrupts connection after 2 or 3 minutes . All you have to do is to use download manager like flashget

Kitchen Problem should be fixed since a few days. Donload shoul not disruppted any more....

I closed everything, turned off TF3D, and am around 50% of my RAM used. Still no dice. Any advice?

rename mscoree.dll under windows\ to mscoree.dll.txt
and then reinstall NETCFv35.wm.armv4i.cab

I've done it twice and it works
Not sure what it does, but I was able to reinstall Net Compact Framework. I forgot where I saw that.

I Have looked high and low for 'mscoree.dll' file. I looked all through windows using file explorer (with SHOW ALL FILES ticked). I've looked in my reged. Closest I can find is in windows called 'coredll.dll0409.mui'. I'm using CDMA stock ROM 1.93 WM6.1. I have not tried netcf install yet, id that why no file?
I know this an old thread, but...

I'm running the stock ROM, albeit the dumped version, but the mscoree.dll file is indeed there from the factory. I didn't have any issues with the install myself. Just ran the MSI file (while synced) located here.

It adds another file called mscoree3_5.dll.

I have a HSPL... .50 Radio ... had another Energy ROM before.
Now I'm with the original, but want to get back to Energy roms...
I've downloaded 9020 Energy and Touch of Glass but I can't open them.
I have the program 7z version 9.21 ( newest ) The program says that the file is broken, I tried with the last winrar .. again nothing..
I found another program that opend 7z files... peazip...
This one opens the file, but wants a password to unzip it.
What the **** should I do to unzip and install the ROM ?

I did, but nothing happened .. I chose touch of glass in the beginning but I tried two others too .. same thing ...
I finally managed ... the problem was in the PC ... I don't know what was the problem, but I downloaded the files on other PC and It worked like a charm !

I've downloaded a few versions of Game Dev Story but everytime my phone can't open the file.. the free version of gds worked perfectly but the full version don't even want to install.
The error I get is :
java.util.zip.ZipException: expected 157 more entries in the Central Directory.
I know it's another ZipException problem but I couldn't find it in other threads.
What do I have to do ?
Presumably your downloaded file is corrupt. I'm guessing you haven't bought this from a legitimate market?

2 things can be happening. Either after you exctract the zip file with Winrar and it contains an apk file which you can transfer to your phone and using a file explorer just run it.
Or you have to go into CMW clockwork mode recovery (if you have it) and select flash a zip file.

if the apk is signed as zip then open that zip with some editor like notepad++ and save it as "*.apk"
There is no apk inside zip file.Its like meta file and system..But its just an app,is it necessary to install via CWM!!!!!!!!!!! in thread it was given as instal file as normal apk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Search all the folders for a apk file

Just rename file's extension from .zip to .apk then. Depending on your OS configuration, you may have to edit 1 setting, if you can not change the extension. For that - Control Panel, Folder Options, View, untick Hide extensions for known file types.

nope it is better without lags and crashes
am on Ubuntu 13.10, i have issues with Firefox(some crashes), so i use chromium no lags at all for me

guess it is not that memory problem, chrome&firefox renders on quality than speed, so most animations lag if more than 10-15 tabs(content also matters may be) are opened at once
anyway we were off the topic

no from my brain, bro ;D i dont talk same as somebody else said :/ i get behind myself im pretty sure its oom, bcuz if i usng stock browser he holds 2 sites loaded, now when open more sites , he only holds the current one. so if i switch to other site he (re)load data. on it. memory usage is some higher but okay. now when i use some browser that usaally tries to holds all the data my memory decreases very hard until to some mb left, on early legacy xperia buils my phone restarted more often if i used other browser hard. i faced this issues on nearly all new browser's... sometimes even my device stops responding so must take off battery i never faced this on stock browser but more site-reloads.
i had seen this behaviour on several roms like stock ics and cm's JB. ...

your zip file is corrupted - unexpected end of archive which probably means it wasnt uploaded fully or there was a packing error
repack and reupload the zip

the zip looks ok
the only way the playstore would force close is if the user had installed another playstore before but changed the name of the playstore apk
for example in your script you have got delete vending apk and replace with com.android.vending-4.5.10.apk (this should be named vending.apk)
so if the user has updated their playstore themselves and have a different name then I spose technically you will now have two playstores installed which maybe the problem but normally if you install and apk it would just replace the old version if the manifest names are the same
I cant really test it as I im on cm7 and I use official gapps
all I can say is in my experience of installing gapps you should either
1 - not have any gapps installed to begin with
2 - or if you are in a stock rom with gapps already installed clear data first to avoid bootloops/any problems
