Wizard + DEH-P70BT (car radio) : autoconnect doesn't work - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario Accessories

Hello !
I have the Pioneer DEH-P70BT bluetooth car radio and a QTEK 9100 (wizard).
My problem is the autoconnect option doesn't work :
When i establish a manual connection (from the Qtek to the car radio, or from the car radio to the qtek) it works fine.
But when i try to use the autoconnect function of the car radio, nothing is happen.
what can i do please ?

Hi, check at pioneer web page the compatibility phone list, it is on .pdf format.
There you will see that all this pda's are not fully supported to do the auto connect from our deh-p70bt.

Installing XDAii software on an Orange SPV M1000

The Orange SPV M1000, same as a XDAii, does not allow 2 headset profile bluetooth devices to be connected
The phone works fine with my Motorla 810 bluetooth headset.
It will also work fine with the Parrot 3300 to take and make calls, run TomTom3 sat nav and Livewire Speedcare.
The problem is the software on Orange will not allow 2 devices to be paired and stored on the phone which have bluetooth headset profile recognised. When the second device is paired it stops recognisning the headset capabilities of the first device.
Orange do not have a care kit profile for the phone.
This brings significant problems in moving from car to foot as one has to repair the alternative device. All settings and voice commands are then lost for the previous device.
Can anyone direct me to somewhere I can have the O2 software installed or an alternative solution for allowing 2 Bluetooth headset profile devices being paired at one time. Only one device will be connected at a time.

Parrot ck3000 carkit + bluetooth gps receiver

Has anyone succeeded in a combination of these two with the Blue Angel device ?
If so, is the audio from the gps software also routed to your car stereo ? What bluetooth protocol would support this ? The parrot carkit supports both the Bluetooth Headset and Handsfree profile.
I think in the end, this would be the best future proof solution : buy a standard pda mount for the Blue Angel and share the parrot carkit between all bluetooth devices present in the car.
Any comments would be welcome !

Ok,
I did a little bit of bluetooth research : in order to have MP3 playback using bluetooth, the device must support the bluetooth A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution profile) profile. The A2DP profile was included in BT 1.2 spec.
I've read the thread on the HP MP3 headphones, and there they have a patch that will install the A2DP profile, though I'm not certain whether it is a HP specific implementation.
Some other interesting threads on this subject :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=12549
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=10747
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=7679
So I expect that sooner or later there is going to be a firmware upgrade or bluetooth stack upgrade from Broadcomm that includes this profile.
The next step would be the parrot : for what I know, it does not support the A2DP profile. I asked their sales department if they have any future products / firmware upgrades that will support this profile.
So once you enter your car, you would have to enable 3 (!) bluetooth connections :
Bluetooth headset profile -> mobile phone handsfree communication
Bluetooth A2DP profile -> regular audio coming from the device
Bluetooth Serial profile -> connection to gps
With all the bluetooth instabilities with the current protocol stack, I wonder if these three at the same time would ever be realistic. Does bluetooth support this kind of bandwith anyways ?
I have a Orange M2000 with the Parrott CK3300 (it has built in bluetooth GPS)- The bluetooth handsfree works fine as long as you update the handsfree kit to the latest firmware. Also you have to pair as a Windows CE device for it to connect whenever you get in the car.
The bluetooth GPS does work but I find I usually have to do a soft-reset and then launch tom tom which then connects to the GPS without a problem.
You do loose the GPS connection when you make or recieve a phone call, I'm not sure if this is a limitation of the handsfree kit or the M2000 though, I've only had if for 2 weeks so I'm still experimenting with it!

Pioneer DEH-P70BT works on BA

Hello all,
I could not BELIEVE the Compatibility list of Bluetooth Mobile phones for the Pioneer DEH-P70BT. So I had to go try it myself in the car audio shop.
After some fiddling around, it DOES work ! ! !
A few glitches, bluetooth does not automaticly re-connect when you step in the car. You need to use the radio to create the connection every time. No so bad even, just 4 presses on a few buttons on the radio and you're ready.
Some other things I haven't tried: Phonebook transfer, voice dial and signal strength probably do not work.
This is my BA:
Model: PH20B
ROM version: 1.40.00 WWE
ROM date: 03/10/05
Radio version: 1.13.00
Protocol version: 1337.42
ExtROM version: 1.40.556 WWE[/url]
I have exactly the same problem. But not only with XdaIIs, the same with my Motorola V3.
Last time I survived hard reset, after trying to reconect my XdaIIs to DEH-P70BT.
Thx god I had BackUp on my Laptop.
Now I think to upgrade it to WM5.
8125 bluetooth compatibility for pioneer p-6800 head unit ???
My phone is a HTC 8125 on T-mobile service and it recognizes the the radio's bluetooth but the radio "doesn't" recognize the phone.
I've tested my other phones (nokia and samsung flip phones) and they worked just fine and the clarity was better than a bluetooth headset (in my opinion)
I would like to know if there is a program or adapter I could use to make the 8125 bluetooth version compatible with the pioneer bluetooth version ????
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!! ;o )

BT Car Stereo
Hi,
I tried DEHP70BT but had problems. Now i'm using VR500CS-BT from Virtual Reality Sound Labs. It works great. Auto reconect works and even has A2DP profile so u can play music from BT PDA via car stereo. About $150.
I use DEH-P65BT and it work well on my BA & SEK800i, Auto Reconect & play music from BT PDA via car stereo
dhid1422, what bluetooth stack & rom are you running on your Blueangel?

[Q] Bluetooth COM2 doesn't reconnect automatically!!

Hello, I've bought an NL-324BTR bluetooth TMC riceiver wich "works" on COM2 when I pair it with bluetooth. The problem is that everytime I start bluetooth on my device (I use phone weaver to autostart bluetooth connection in my car) the port COM2 doesn't reconnetc automatically and I have to go to the bluetooth settings and reconnect it manually. This is a very very bad issue for me (as you can imagine I can't drive and reconnect devices in the same time ). Is there an app, a script or something like that wich allows me to reconnect the COM automatically?
Uh, I was forgetting, in my car I've installed a parrot bluetooth hands free car kit wich works perfectly and automatically reconnect each time. I've also tried to use the COM with or without the parrot connection established but nothing has changed, no way to reconnect it automatically.
Any suggestion?
Thanks and regards
Andrea

BT auto connect?

I was just curious if there was any way to setup BT auto connect instead of having to manually connect each time to my stereo in my scion...
questions,
1. when you first paired did you have the player find the radio or the radio find the player, I find with my pioneer radios I've owned with Bluetooth the radio has to find the player for the autoconnect of the bluetooth to work.
2. Scions, unless they've changed came with factory pioneer radios with the car on and the radio OFF hold the Function (or other buttons, varies with model) to get into the menu that lets you set the radio clock and other things like that and make sure autoconnect is ON.
