I used invisibleshield in my 8125. The body protection is pretty cool! But the screen protector sux. You have to add their solution (Water)! But ok i add some water to the shield and stick on my screen. I didn't like it, so I tried to remove it after 3 hours. I thought i would break my screen, since the invisibleshield lifted my screen to come out!.
Anybody knows if i could have damaged my screen? since the protector lifted it?
Or the screen is resistent?
Thanks

1. has anyone tried this type before,
2. is it worth the £7,
the coloured screen is just to show the fitment the actual product is clear.
Why screen protector ?
In past I used screen protector. When I did take off it, then I was very surprised how much screen protector degrades quality of screen at my Touch HD. I bought Touch HD for his briliant screen. Please don't use screen protector it is not necessary, especially if you use fingers only and not stylus. After 3 months usage w/o screen protector I can say that touch's screen is enough resistant for daily use.
I got my clearprotector today. i bought the full body protector and just applied it.
Result: I tore the body protector off right away....cant do this to my blackstone...everywhere you look you see where one protector ends and the other starts etc...nothing for me, as i like the original look of the blackstone ;-)
but as you just asked about the screenprotector, I have to say it's really nice and definitely worth the money. Its very clear and very accurate, not like the original one from htc. the only thing you have to get used to is that sliding on the screen with your finger is a bit more difficult since the protector is a bit sticky due to its rubber surface.
All in all, I cant recommend the body protector, but the screen protector is the best i saw up to now.
Anyone know is the screen on tablet s scratch resistance? I know is not gorilla glass tho... and is there a screen protector on the S already right out of box?
No screen protector in the box but I bought the official one from Sony for mine and it gives it a smoother matte finish. I bought it just to protect the non-gorilla glass screen and from my experience, if it's not gorilla glass, protect it.
There is no screen protector out of the box. Like officeman, I got the official Sony screen protector and I really like it.

Does the screen protectors matt finish help reduce the amount of fingerprints and smears?
I mean not included in the box but a screen protector sticked on the screen already... It seems like there's one on my...
It does stop fingerprints better than the normal surface.
I really wish they would have went with the gorilla glass, but i dont mind spending a few bucks on the screen protector, i just need to find where i can get one, no one where I am carries any accessories or anything for it.
look closely on the corners of the screen from above if u dont have a screen protector yet... on my I see some clear lines just a bit smaller than the screen... im not sure is that a screen protector or is just how the glass suppose to look like...
Feels the same as the iPad 1 glass to me.
so it is juz a scratchable glass screen...
Everyone here knows that Motorola droid razr has a gorilla glass, so do I really need to put a screen guard on the phone? Why or why not?

That is up to you. Gorilla glass can scratch and break like any other screen. I use them because its easier to replace a scratch on a $10 protector than to replace my phone because of a scratch.

There was an article on yahoo testing the screen with & without protector. Keys didn't scratch either, and neither did pocket change. The two things the host tested were a nail file and then she ran a dremel across the screen. The nail file scratched the glass but not through the screen protector. The dremel results were the same. Some argue that the screen protector helps against drops but I'm not willing to test that one out.
I scratched my screen sometime on day one. its a hairline scratch and can't be felt but my eyes are drawn to it. It wasn't in a pocket with keys or change. I did have it the pocket of my khakis but the pockets were otherwise empty. I also put it face down on my couch a few times while I was transfering files to the SD card. Not sure how it got scratched but all I have to say is:
USE A SCREEN PROTECTOR OR YOU SCREEN WILL GET SCRATCHED. Mark my words.
I've had my RAZR for 5 months, I think. I finally managed to get my first hairline scratch last week. I can JUST see it when the sun hits it right. I hate screen protectors, and the actual screen feels so much better than any protector I've found. So I'd suggest not getting one.
I decided to not take any chances. I put a Klean Kare screen protector on it. Fits perfectly and lets your finger glide across the screen , not sticky or anything like that.
Thank you everyone for the advice.
I think I'll be getting a screen guard
Better safe than sorry.
Screen protectors are cheap.
Smart phones aren't.

I Originally had the KlearKare Bulk Invisible Screen Shield Protector which is a wet application and had issues with ripples and such not coming off so I decided to go for the dry application instead and bought the Halo Screen Protector Film Invisible (Clear) (3-Pack) which works great. It is smooth sliding and protects well against scratches, I like that they give you 3 as one will get scratched after use over time. (both are from amazon)
In the last couple of months I've already bought 2 screen protectors and both of them eventually "failed". I installed the first one and in the SAME day some water droplets fell on the screen and somehow went below the screen protector and created this huge rainbow-ish circle in the middle of the screen. The second one, that I just installed last weekend, had some dust or hair or something like that I suppose under the glass so I tried removing it, just guess what happened. Broken screen protector, so I'm trying to figure out if the problem is me, if I'm just unable to get it right and there's always something under the glass or it is impossible to get 100% right unless you're a machine.
I'd like to know what's your situation guys, what type of screen protector you're using and if you applied it yourself and how's it working for you or if you're still with the default one which was perfectly applied god I wish that lasted longer...
P.S: I've thought about plastic protectors instead of glass ones but if I can't apply a glass screen protector without dust under it I can't even imagine a plastic one.

I applied a Skinomi shortly after receiving my op5. It's been on for almost a full year and still looks as good as it did in the pix I posted here.. Application was extremely easy.
I just got my Mate 20 Pro. When I opened the sealed box, there was no protective film on the screen. But I noticed that even after using it for the past 2 hours, there are no fingerprints or smudges on the screen. It looks pristine. So what's the deal here? There's a special oleophobic coating on the screen? Doesn't it require a screen protector? Or is there a screen protector already fixed (I couldn't identify any protector edge).. Confused
My phones (the original and replacement for green screen ?) both didn't have a film in the screen, just the back and both were in sealed boxes
So do we need a screen protector for this mob or not?

All unboxing's that i've seen/read don't have a screen protector so that's normal.
Huawei say is scratch resistant glass but a few people have reported minor scratches very quickly.
Screen protector is a must I think but finding one that's compatible with the onscreen fingerprint reader AND a good sticky fit is proving difficult... keep an eye on the Screen Protector thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-20-pro/accessories/screen-protectors-t3856858
