Clean ROM doesn't mean better performance.
Isn't the smart phone market tendency to provide devices with everything anyone could wish? Stop browsing the net looking for the best skin and the best utilities. Now the big companies are doing it for you like HTC or GSmart.
While you save some money to buy a new phone here it is a high speed and performance ROM I share with nice skin and good utilities selection (it is a matter of taste of course).
Battery consumption is quite acceptable (not the best) but I don't think someone would care recharging every one or two nights because it lasts more than one day with heavy use. On the other hand you have a super fast and very stable phone with a lot of good appls and utilities ready to help you in your everyday activities.

I have just upgraded my atom exec with this new ROM version, and discovered a problem with button assigment: the mail button wich normally points to O2 Media Plus is pointing to unexisting shorcut, but the real problem is I cannot assign it to anything else, it appears as disabled in Settings-Buttons.
Maybe is my pocket but this never happened before, any suggestion? maybe a registry quick fix?
Also after installing, the was no default today screen, until I enter in Settings-Personal-Today and select the Plugins...a minor detail...

Yes. It is because you have to reassign it to nay other application but O2 media. You have to reassign also one of the last two "Button" options to a different thing than <Context Menu>. Assign it to a <Input Panel> for example. Those are Pocket Plus "Button" options not implemented in this ROM version but they are there doing nothing. (You can't have those two "Buttons" assigned to the same thing as they are both assigned to <Copntext Menu> by default).

Yes. That is why Auto install asks you to go to System settings after soft reset when it is done after hard reset or ROM flashing.
It is very recommendable you do nothing until softreset and read carefully the last instructions when Auto install tells you "WM6.1 Installation well done" and asks you if you want to soft reset. It is needed for proper instalation.
I suggest you perform a hard reset now and follow instructions so you have a 100% working Abusalza's in Blue.

I dont think so but before flashing the ROM replace network folder in ExtendedRom from ur old ROMs ExtendedRom (hope u not confused) and u will get the network settings.

It has block recognizer, letter recognizer, keyboard, touch keyboard, touch keypad, touch qwerty keyboard and no transcriber.

Activesync via Bluetooth not checked.
The build is not aligned with CE as Jaime did some magic with it to make it battery friendly. The magic worked but it has now this build align problem .

The main purpose of this ROM is to make Atom Exec owners stay away from stylus as much as possible with an original interface other than iphonish or htc thouch ones so no transcriber built in.
It is the industry tendency
The second purpose of this ROM is to keep Atom Exec owners out of Diamond or iphone stores

It isn't really a problem. It was made on purpose. Build 19949 battles a lot keeping registry keys and it is when errors and battery drain come up.
Let's say that it is a car with big engine (19949) with acuate accessories (19209).

Hey Jaime it works like magic as I tried it and it is the easiest way to do instead of going into the prvisi... provissss provin... that thingy. Although this then reverts u to the old network settings instead of ur star clad network settings .

I've got an iPAQ rw6815 and i'm actually very fond of "touchy" interfaces. I love PointUI, for example.
So, can I use this rom with my pda?
If not, where can I find the ingredients I would at least try to put them into the boring (!) WM5 the ipaq has by default. (None of the wm6/6.1 roms out there on this site has worked reliably for me, yet)

You have to change your local weather in settings (scroll right) and you'll find Throttle settings and in weather you have to write the name of your city.
Could you post a pic of your digital clock?

Homer285 is a gone case as far as Atom is concerned because his Atom now wont go back to Atom due to continuous flashing of Atom Exec ROM's (lucky for us Atom Exec users ).

I'd better avoid flashing Atom Life, Orbit or Flame ROM's
i'm facing some problem when using this rom.
1. i don't know how to use the dial pad. i can't make call by pressing the call button. The dial pad didn't show up when i press the button too. And after the dialing . I stuck again(because the call button didn't function at all)
(*ok, i caught the problem. all of the keys were malfunction. I don't know where is the problem exist)
Can you teach me how to remove this dial pad? I wish to use the original dial pad.
About the sliding software, how can i remove it?(i really don't need this function)
Where is the messaging service? beside install 3rd party software. I can't send any sms ....
Yes, beside those problem. I found the version you release is nice . The other rom i flash, the os always hard to detect the sim. And cost a century for lagging...

I have installed the rom early, A2DP working excellent, and everything looked and worked fine....sudenly like 30 minutes later the screen started to vanish...twice, I had to hard reset and then while capturing basic information about date and time it has the same behaviour, then I decided to go back because I need my phone.
So maybe later I will try again, but this never happened to me before with this device, only in Compaq Ipaq while playing with nidydot screen resizer...the screen dimished and hard reseted automatically...

That is very odd. It may be your device. I haven't ever heard that happening in an Atom Exec before. ROM works fine in my device and people are downloading and installing it without complains.
I hope your device is o.k. and you finally enjoy Crystal_Touchy as others do.

Thank you, Nice Rom A2DP work find but first time after upgrade using start windows very long time. Cause Throttle Today can not start.
After cancel Throttle Today and setup value in Throttle3D for my mobile style.
Enable Throttle again my mobile work find but sometime after soft reset is using
start windows time less than first time after upgrade. Throttle Today is very nice but sometime found error Exception sometime and soft reset.
I think Throttle Today must use parameters value for match in environment of
software, memory and other. I will continue adjustable and continue testing it.
If Throttle Today make start windows using long time every soft reset.
I will uninstall it.

How much time is "very long time" for you. My device starts up very fast after soft reset.
When did you find that "error Exception" what were you doing?

Some time 5- 10 Minute.
Error Exception found when select Mail or SMS in Throttle.
When disabled Throttle Today Overall is fast.
Cube and other not found problem...

Devil version with Manila 2DMy own Cuztomizations...
Manila 2D... Most were my modifications. The skin were from Diamond. Icons from Mega and Clock were from Jade. I turned the selector to transparent, made IE as the default browser and add facebook link in the internet widget. I also changed the Email Widget's background so the mail is no more covered with envelope.

Quick upgrading guide.
1. Download the ROM file to your computer, and then extract diskimg.nb0 from the RAR file.
2. Copy diskimg.nb0 to miniSD (not larger than 1GB)
3. MAKE SURE YOUR DEVICE HAD ENOUGH BATTERY. If you feel hesitant, just do all the next steps with the battery charger plugged in to your device.
4. Insert the miniSD to you device. And TURN ON YOUR DEVICE.
5. While the device is on, do this step. PRESS AND HOLD BOTH SOFTKEYS (button with (-) symbol, placed above the green/call key and red/end call key), and HIT THE RESET BUTTON with Stylus WHILE STILL HOLDING BOTH SOFTKEYS.
6. The next screen will be white, with HP logo at the center of your screen. The upgrade process has started. Wait about 12 (about 8 minutes for flash upgrade and 4 minutes for Cold Boot).
7. At the 8th minutes your device will be rebooted automatically. Wait again for 4 minutes for Cold Boot.
8. Align Screen, set the time, date, and localization... and finished.
9. If you finished all the steps, please change your device into landscape mode, and reboot device. This will enable HTC Album's Portrait Mode.

My modifications over the Titanium and Lockscene
Enlarge the image in the Picture panel and the Email/Messaging panel.
Change the Slider to transparent. 2 advantages by doing this. First, my Lockscreen Wallpaper wont be bothered by the Lockscreen slider. Second, the transparent slider may secure your device from other people. Don't worry. Just press the slider's normal position, and a semi-transparent slider will appear.

Issues and the fixes
If you enter these three menu in Settings, you'll get stuck. Don't worry. Just hold Volume down for 2 seconds (I assigned the Volume down button as OK button).
Known Bugs
In some menus in the control panel (shown above) you will be unable to press X button on the screen. I’ve found this issue on every WM6.5.5 235XX builds, so I think it’s related to devices’ hardware button. Most of the new devices with these builds have “OK” or “X” hardware button, but iPAQ rw6828 does not, so this problem will always appear on our iPAQ rw6828. But don’t worry… I’ve fix this problem. Just press and HOLD volume button down for 2 seconds to use “OK” or “X” button function..
Obex Driver. Impossible to fix… this is 2006 device met 2010 OS. But don’t worry, you can always use third party explorer such as Resco File Explorer to freely send files. I also added HTC Bluetooth Explorer which is very powerful.

To rizky_p: Sorry bro, I couldn’t add the ArkSwitch. The application works good but if I edit the settings to enable this app on startup or the tool folder, the shortcut turned mislead. A normal istallation would be great. I’ve add a beautiful shortcut icon for you.

To W_a_x_x: Sorry bro, I’m still unable to optimize the camera to be as good as if we use the Brogent camera app. But, I’ve done some patches over the registries, so the camera quality works better than the previous one.

Yes, I removed the Auto Data Configuration... I did it to save more space. Can you set them manually, Bro,
I have very limited internet connections here, and the upload speed were s*cks. The speed is about 7KBps and it took me about 2-3 hours to upload just one ROM

No bro. The Manila 2D and the EZInput, both consumes large resources. If I add them both, It would slower our devices. I only add the EZInput on the Angel version with the Universal Encoding.

What is the difference between "Angel Version I with MMS" and "Almost Official" version ?
From screenshots I can see that Almost Official is less customized..
I'm happy with "Angel Version I with MMS" so far only bug I found is already known that for rw6815 you can not access WIFI advanced menu from Communication Manager, but it's not a big deal since I don't used everyday.

Yes, I've flashed back to the almost official version, and found the same problem. terribly sorry for this. I tried some ways to fix it but no use...
I think I'll remove it if you don't mind. I'll add other apps like th EZInput or Microsoft facebook, ok?? if you don't mind.
I'm looking forward for your suggestion brother...

Hi, I am using Dutty's Leo HG V3.3. The default popup menu position is in center of screen. I want to know how to change it to lay popup menu in bottom of screen.
The cernter popup menu.png is not I want.

just to be clear, its nothing to do with the dutty rom you are using,,that is the standard behavior.
theres nothing wrong with duttys popup menu just was wondering if there was a way to make it work like the energy rom
