I've looked throughn the forum, but i did not see anything about my question.
I've got a possibility to get from Germany a O2 XDA trion. surely, it will be locked to the network. Is there any possibility to unlock it? Do you follow the same procedures as with Wizard or there are other procedures?

i know this forum a couple of time, now needed to register and to ask you all:
I have a O2 XDA II german version, but i´m using T-Mobile Germany as provider. Does anybody know if it is possible to change the O2 operating system to the T-Mobile MDA II sys. ? I don´t know exactly if XDA II & MDA II are the same devices. And if possible, can somebody provide me the german T-Mobile firmware ?

THX for info - but i can´t nowhere find the german ROM file for MDA II and maybe a "how-to-do-it" guide, i´m not an expert on ROM flashing ....... I appreciate every help i can get

It doesn't matter what kind of ROM do you have in your device, if it is running with your SIM card and is speaking in your born language... Am I right or not?

I don´t like the O2 Rom, i prefer the T-Mobile Rom, i had an MDA III but i was not satisfied with the machine, i sold it and bought a used XDA II, it works much better than the MDA III (especially phone & bluetooth), that was even a reason for me to have the T-Mobile Rom, i´m more familiar with it.

I haven't seen any English O2 ROMs. Why don't you just upgrade to another English ROM? (Make sure to follow MrVanx's guides when you upgrade)
There Are No English O2 Roms, As O2 Did Not Release The XDA Trion Over Here In The UK.

yeh its more for testing then anything else
ina a few weeks im going to rolling out the trion at my work place so wanted to get the headsup before-hand and test the UK rom,
thats why i didnt get the german version
hell iv already got HTC's latest rom and also been running WM6 which i LOVE"!
but anyway hope some one gets a chance to get there mits on the device in the UK and can post the rom
mmmmmmmmmmm if i had more time on my hand i might have got Buzz's ROM dumper and poped into a O2 store?
well i think im a little far gone to be pulling a 007 in a o2store-----

use one of other english rom (WWE rom) is the only choice (dopod, HTC...)

i 've bought a xda neo from o2 germany. unfortunately, it's g4.
it has the o2 extended rom on it, but i don't want it.
i tried reading through the threads, but got confused since some say its possible to upgrade, and others not.
i mainly want to change the os language, but if i can use another rom completely (such as qtek), i would be very happy

same here, i also bought a xda neo G4 from o2 germany and able to change os language in english.
ASERG 3.3.13 is so far is the stable and fast.
before upgrade ur rom follow the insatruciton carefully.

today a customer came in and had a MDA from T-Mobile UK it was a herm300
this looks the same as the cingular 8525 (herm100) only red.
it needs to be unlocked, the sim unlock program works on this model? ive unlocked several 8525s.
another thing, the phone is in german. how do i switch it to english?
i went into the setings and changed the regional settings to english but it didnt do anything.

you need to flash it with an english ROM...
to unlock it... just look at the top of this forum for the Hermes Unlocker by pof...
No, no english ROM necessary. Unlocking DOES work, use POFs unlocker. I did it wth a german T-Mobile MDA Vario II (aka TyTN, aka HERM300). Regards.
