I have a Imate pocket pc, and I updated to 1.72 wwe, I found my ppc has serial v1.06! I dont want the V1.06 because I want downgrade to CHINESE version. But I tried to flash it through sd card, it didnt work! I urgently want use chinese rom , anyone can help me to change my imate 1.72 wwe to chinese rom( i have chinese rom already)???
Note: mine is v1.06( I heard this version can not downgrade),,but i still want to ask anyone who may have a idea!!
does any1 knows about the 2.08 rom upgrade? if theres such Rom please post the link. i wanna upgrade into that version tnx!

You can find the ROM on XDA-Developers FTP:

For the curious out there, the ROM is shipped in NBH format so you can extract it if you want to look at the ROM components.
I don't own an Oxygen and I can't test it so I don't know what's on this ROM, if you try it please post details about it.

Can anyone help i have just got a HTC S310 (Orange SPV C100) from orange france and am desperately seeking an english language rom. found one rombut get the incorrect vendor error. Seems like a great phone but i cant read french.
Your phone is CID locked. AFAIK there is no free method to CID unlock it.
...unless you will downgrade your phone's bootloader with bootloader only upgrade for HTC Oxygen that is available from local ftp first.
that bootloader should let you flash any rom of your choice.

New ROM
I've installed the ROM. Nothing special but it took a little longer to boot. I was looking for the Chinese ROM however. Could anyone please post it here or direct me to somewhere I can download and try. Thanks.

@pof just got a s310 where is this ROM from? is it official HTC release or not yet???
not yet, this is a test rom, very close (if not the same) to final release...
hi pof thanks for the response... I'm trying to hack the registry of my s310 but i'm having no luck. i tried using Resco Explorer Registry Addin [SP] and Regedit STG found on modaco. the changes i make don't even stick [I haven't cycled power cause everytime i tap done to make the changes the values are still the same] I am trying to app unlock my s310. any other way I can do this? btw this is the reference I am trying to follow: http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=235408&st=0&p=708679&#entry708679

very true. Production ROM (SHIP) is this firmware with IU TEST ONLY message removed from boot screen. that's all.
uh oh i guess i bought mine too early oh well this will do as a 2ndary phone...

I supposed the dictionary does support russian/polish T9 since this is more like an European ROM to me. Russian and Polish language are found inside. No chinese/east asian language though.

Thats a great news for me that you have found that Polish language in that new ROM file.
But - please - make me sure - you mean there is a Polish language to choose not in 'Regiona setings' (date, currency etc) BUT in system - so I will see Polish words in menu, in alerts etc?
It wold be a Salvation for me, really;-)

Hello,i have a problem with that bootloader from xda-developers FTP.When bootloader have may be loaded,it will turn off the device and Error happen.What can I do with that?My phone is CID locked (SPV C100),so i can not flash this new ROM from Pof.

i just bought dopod s600 from china from china mobile. now ive tried putting simcard from indonesia and it works really well... (does that means i dont have to unlock it anymore?)
and because ive bought it from china, the language is in chinese...

at flashing hardspl, i dont really get the point number 8
how do i flash the hardspl 1.15 ? if i run the romupdate utillity, from folder flash-uspl-niki , i didnt get any result.. its just reformatting the phone...

i want to use TOM_Niki-Project_WM6_1.1_WWE_16keys_signed_Ship_s600 ROM... but when i run it, it cannot detect my phone ... do you know why ?
Did you flash HardSPL?
For flashing another rom (English) you phone must be unlocked for flashing(HardSPL)
next step is downloading ROM you want, and flash it.
Go to bootloader (Power off device, press and hold "Camera" button, power on device) and try flash again. If it doesn't work, probably you usb cabel is brocken.

May be you need to update you radio rom (CID Unlock required!)

hi guys i have a htc x7500 and now i'm using spl 3.5 with a cooked rom but becuse i'm from greece and i want to have greek keybord i want to flash to an origina htc rom and my question i do i need to change my spl and how...in other words which spl do i need for flashing an orginal rom.... thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english

You need to go to the upgrade section on this forum and look for the downgrader thread and once you have done that and flashed it you can load the stock roms as before.
now i have managed o get from 3.5 to 1.20 olipro and i nave instal a rom for 1.20 spl and now i dont know what to do how to put the original rom and what to do whith radio version...
