Hi
I have flashed my spanish tytn with an english rom "JASJAM_telstra_1.31.305.2_1.31.305.103_1.20.31.10_ship.zip" . But any of the keyboard hacks described in the wiki seems work. Does anybody have any success with this issue?

Does anyone have 838Pro HK English ROM.
I just flashed an English ROM into my Chinese 838Pro.
But found out when using the keyboard, the symbols are located differently.

you can also tweak the registry to use the chinese keyboard with an english rom. read "Restore local language support for sliding keyboard after upgrade to a different language ROM" section on this page. i beieve this is what you are looking for.

Hey friends and developers of XDA,
I flashed any english Roms with Hard-SPL and it works great. But I have in any Roms every time the same Problem with the "germany Keyboard Layout". After flashing I change the individuell parameter in the Rom for example
1.) in Seetings/System/RegionalSettings to germany
2.) in Advance Config Tool 3.3.0.0; Input / Keyboard Layout: Germany
in the virtual Keyboard Layout are all Keys in german (ö, ä, ...) but on the Hardwaykeyboard the Keys are in english layout. The Z are on Y, etc.
What is missing in the Rom´s to get a germany hardwarelayout?

Hello guys,
this afternoon i flashed WinMo 6.5 from Da_G and noticed that under given registry path 1033 instead of 409 stood.
So I searched a bit the internet and immediately found the right page.
http://www.science.co.il/language/Locale-Codes.asp?s=hexadecimal
In Windows Mobile 6.1 the language ID is saved as a Hexadecimal
But in Windows Mobile 6.5 as Decimal!
So.. back to the post.
German Users should replace 1033 with 1031 (@ 6.5)!

i also tried to change the hardware keyboard to german, but without any success. I don't know why. I changed the Settings and the parameters in Adv. Config Tool. I am using the EnergyROM Series 2.0 21042!!!
I also changed the value for CurLang from 409 to 407.
Please help me!!!

I just installed a WM6.5 Rom on my HTC Touch Pro...
It's working fine, except for the keyboard layout. I wanna change it to German.
Under: Settings --> Input, i chose german, but it's still not working.
And my "FN" button openes the calender...
Can anybody help ???

I've been looking around and searching these forums for a way to change or add a language to the (xt9) auto-complete on the default windows/sense keyboard on my HD2.
i'm currently using an English ROM but want to have my keyboard language in Dutch (without flashing a Dutch ROM)
